  1. Interesting read, first I have heard about 25hp and particular filter regulations coming in. So how do we stand with old chippers.
  2. Battery chipper? Have they got it 750kg or heavier.
  3. If you do catch then and knock ten balls out of them you would be the one up for it.
  4. Used a customers John Deere 35 HP compact with loader when I coppiced a hedge for them that thing would push so mush brash up I could not see were I was going. A lot of dealers will demo if you are interested.
  5. E clip missing when chain got thrown off topping a conifer hedge today with only 5 yard to finish and no other saw, i now always take back up. Had a look in tool box and found spring the right size so cut a ring out and then cut a washer out of a shin for landy amazing what you keep but came in handy. Finished job..
  6. If mean the one in the middle you may do crack pipes to release pressure first and see. On a McConnell hedge cutter I use one leaver after time was hard to move tried everything turned out oil had leaked in to spring end of vavle making a hydraulic damper affected.
  7. Smaller fuel and oil caps, exhaust around plastic gets brittle oil filter blocks easy but you can dismantle it and clean. Find it a good saw for the money
  8. If he is a good climber should have no problem getting down if not injured. But any training is a bonus.

  10. Oak sap wood will rot quicker then treated soft wood post so will not last anytime, but oak heart wood post will last for a long time.

  19. Someone had 1 on a boxer loader if I remember. Have thought a winch on one would be handy as you can just sit and pull no run back needed if space is limited.
  20. That's right but you may do it quicker second time do to less growth or knowing were to put steps and other things make up time on hedge cutting.
  21. If you go in cheap the first and loss out then the second time you make that up or maybe not that's life.
  22. Hope that body tips more than that woodchip is a sod to get moving.
