The first time I got parts from them got sweets, though they had played a joke on someone by hiding there sweets but no standard practice.

Belt could of got a glaze on it if pulleys were rusty. Belt on vehicles are a consumable item so just change it

Looks like it has been cut in the past at about 6 foot then let to go. Would just top it at that height again.

If you are rigging down can not see why you shouldn't if trailer is near enough or can be moved under saves handling and cutting.

It's not the registering that needs doing it the punishment for theft of tools but what do the government and police care. There was a piece on my local news about a plumber trying to get a potion up to send to government for stronger sentence for working mens tool being stolen but no link at bottom of screen telling you how to sign up

As you say hole is like river how is adding well draining soil to hole going to help, will create nice bog garden.

You dug hole and left it is the first problem, is the clay natural or builders just buried it, you may be able to dig through it which would be best answer.

Every fault I have had before has been scotch loc connectors used badly.

My plan is to leave trailers and trucks on standard 7 pin and socket and add a remote switch on fog light as already mentioned by Bob.

All i would do with them is throw them in the nearest BIN.

Got it but you must mean put both tail lights in to same as only 1 brake wire. But i do not want to rewire all truck.

1 gypsy stick would of stopped them (maybe that's why there called that) -
Is what I am thinking but with a remote so everything can be water tight on trailer.

They are what i have considered but were i live narrow roads and have to back up some times because as.h... drivers will not or the are lorries bigger then me so need something mounted have an idea if it works will let you all know.

Not got a spare terminal in plug so how do you get power to lights.??

Use that trick and hazards as well but still need a bit more light.
