  1. . When you change filters no need to bleed just to ignition on and let pump pump until note of it changes.
  2. Timberwolf's have 2 filters have you changed both and have you fitted the inline one the right way around, but probable would affect cold starting as well. Once it is warm how hard is it to turn flywheel by hand if little or no resistance it could be a compression problem with engine, if it has little compression could be anything from loose injector to head gasket. Could be easier to get good fitter to look at it is Kubota engine fitted to a lot of plant.
  3. That picture was took a little while ago as leafs were still on it when felled and i am guessing owner wants it gone, can not see timber merchant wanting it as to knotty. Just crack on and firewood it hard work if you can not get big machine near it to cart away or brake it down, that's tree work some times.
  4. That on the front of mog, isn't that crane feed only.
  5. Good point made there Bob, other thing to consider is can you get machinery near weld in first place if not longer leads or big extension lead needed. I ve got a 200amp petrol Mosa in shed and have 10m leads to reach outside on site welds run grinder drills, have even ran house on it when we had no power for 4 days do to storm made it grunt when emersion water heater was on and someone switched kettle on as well.
  6. This stuff biodegrades so just speed it up with some uv light and water.
  7. Got a question has your chipper be running at full capacity for long periods of time, like feed control cutting in all the time.
  8. That's with 1 pass if you are welding loader bracket on should multi pass weld any way. My brother has a sip 160amp runs on 13amp plug great little machine can set it up and weld plate together and it looks like its been Tig welded.
  9. 200amp inverter welder is probably the best route to go small and powerful easy to use,
  10. Haha when they work they are great, when they don't there as much use as a wet box of matches when lighting a fire. Glad I still run a 150 as go's on and on easy to work on. Had my 18/100 in a garden be for Christmas and line cutters trimmed trees in garden, they could not get there 230 in garden I chipped everything they cut off they couldn't believe what it chipper and quick.
  11. Yes the 150 was a game changer but you miss understood, I was on about tracked as this is how the thread started. So when you are in that league of chipper you will need trailer ticket to tow of you are young one.
  12. This has been an interesting read, why the hell don't chipper manufacturers build chipper strong and sod the weight because if they are good they will sell what ever the weight.
  13. If they are they should step up and get in touch with lux before he gets in touch which would be good customer service and show they are a British company worth dealing with and not one we shouldn't be dealing with.
  14. Not familiar with machine, but is it they use the tr6 components and stick a bigger engine up front and larger roller infeed and hopper. Also with it being a tracked machine should be able to be beefed up were need.
  15. If that near would make an appointment with CEO of forst and turn up with machine and get him to look into it, as he may not be a were of the problems they are having.
  16. Other grabs are available and equally as good. Or design and make your own so it's exactly what you want.
  17. Can only see pop rivet with hole no other hole. Check ejector bleed back is clear my uncle had problem with ejector pump on jcb leaking replaced seal were it was leaking after about a day leaked again turn out bleed back pipe had been squished, new pipe no leak.
  18. They can probably run it better then any NHS managers or government. It was the logistics of the army that finished it in the first place.
  19. Firemen would have not got near tree with Simon ladder as 100m from hard standing and gound was soft leaf mater.
  20. Call out this morning, cat up tree be there since 6.30 last night owners worried it was getting cold. 60ft up some big Alder coppice no limbs for 40ft, funny looking down at 2 people holding white sheet out incase it decided to jump. Got it just before it move and put it in carrier and lowered it down.
  21. Can you wire motor straight to battery so you know if it works,
  22. My ifor has lead plug and have to wiggle plug to get it to work some times, as will said you can hot wire it with piece of wire have done it a couple of times when delivering logs and forget lead.
  23. We had one in kitchen with back boiler to heat some radiators, bloody thing had to be turned up so high to heat rads it would chuck out so much heat you couldn't stay in kitchen. So yes they chuck out some heat, if you light them wrong they chuck out one hell of a smell. They are a bit like a wood burner as in you put more wood on and open up draft and it slowly heats up, in it case turn control nob up and slowly gets hotter with out having to cart more wood in.
  24. Yellow Aconites nearly out near me.
  25. That isn't going to chip very fast with if I am right in thinking it's only 11.5hp. Would keep an eye out for a second hand Timberwolf 18/100 will do everything you want and fast.
