    Cut it off at base and then winch it.

    You will find that near impossible to be in the right place once finished, just drill with the size you need to start with. Like using a drill with wood spade bit then trying to drill it bigger.

    Just found out that local vaccine centre is closed today because of a little snow, they haven't even tried to run it. This must be disheartening to the old how have battled though worst weather then what we have at the moment.

    Good comment, worked in a garden a couple of years ago and was asked about tuning a strimmer that would not start or run, got it going and gave it to the gardener after a couple of days owner rang me up and said they couldn't get it going. So next time I was there had a look at it and the tuning screws had been turned right in when gardener was asked about it new nothing about it, turns out he later let slip he hated strimming.

    Next you will need a chiropractic with all that in one bag. I use army bags heavy canvas things available in different shapes.

    Its a loud of rubbish. I delivered a load of logs a month ago to a customer been cut for a year dry as a bone, and went back last week and half the load had been chucked under hedge to keep dry in the weather we have at the moment. Just jobs for people with no idea and paper work for us to try and get around.

    Depending what size, maybe worth looking at deer carcass trays.

    Not use either, but have used straight and twin boom would go for twin boom as up and over ability on reduction jobs. Used a 30m straight boom on a truck on a tree last year because machine I wanted was not available was a pain trying to get boom to drop in between limbs to get reach.

    He said new machine so should be nothing wrong if when he bought it was ran up on aspen when tuned up at shop, but maybe it wasn't.

    Built it up myself out of parts engine is Lombardi 20hp and then tandem pumps developing 44lpm at about 1500rpm with a dump valve which then gives you the power, had a lot of help from David lupton how supplied pumps and he makes hydraulic power pack for bale rappers. Will run all day on about 2 litres of red.

    Got a hydraulic power pack which kicks out the same as that, runs a 10t oxdale splitter very quick and run a Riko 25t quicker then tractor.
