  1. Once got told to put 5L can on floor to fill by LAD in garage then remembered my little chipper was low so went to fill that up and LAD piped up you can't fill that up on the fore court, I put the nozzel in the tank nothing. Went in and said were the boss he called him. Morning Paul whats the problem he said, looking at the LAD and said him, you can work the rest out.

  3. The land owner needs an exemption licence to burn his brash on HIS/HER land as long it's burnt near the trees it comes off no problem, theres all so something about if its diseased timber. Any way the cricket bat wilow boys burn every thing they don't want.

  7. Just finnished 20 willow pollards, and did 57 last year from the 7 march to 25 march no problem.
  8. Find out how the highways engineer is and talk to him and get it OK'd. All he may want to know is start and finish time and your traffic management even if the road is closed people still come and drive/walk through.
  9. Last time I did a drop arm broke a 15 ton hydraulic puller from a local farmer landed up chain drilled it and then took a kango to it no problem apart from ringing in ears.

  18. Had one for 2 years split ever thing i've wanted it to. light in weight easy to move. Put a 40 gallon drum over it to keep weather off it if using it for a week on and off near log pile. Bought 6meter hoses to fit my 1 make it usefull when you can't got near timber to split.

  20. Chimney sweep/ TV ariel erecter/ Cat rescurer/ Barn roofer / to name some. Once got asked by 2 old ladys how had locked them out of there flat could I climb in a open window on the third floor and go down the stairs to let them in. Got a reward of tea and cake.
  21. Did some BIG PINES yesterday and theres no way you could have throwen a line from the ground, there was yews under them and the only way was to ladder above the yews and then throw a line.
