    Looking at video again the first cyclist nearly takes his head off with rope pulling tree and is the one that nearly or gets brushed by it female

    When I use to cut a lot of road side hedges with a flail found a 8ft piece of rope wrapped it around flails but it was what was on the end, a big boat anchor.

    That is shocking to watch, rope is across junction as well. Maybe felled away from lean as man hole cover and did not want to hit it but not bothered about the odd car or cyclist .

    That type of steps are ok were you have nothing in the way like shrubs / roses.

    I have just recently bought new steps to cut hedges they are Werner 75055 they raise up 1 rung as you need or front short long back used them for about 3 weeks cutting hedges now and are a great bit of kit. There's a lot of clips on you tube about them as well.

    When I was younger ( I know when I was) planted miles of hedging for a local estate 2 planting and 6 guarding with tubes and stacks they could not keep up guarding as time consuming part of job. On that planting I was planting 900 to 1300 aday which was planting on field banks and across middle of fields.

    Did an emergency job years ago police shut road. Highways man turned out in little van moved sign a pulled up and said how has closed road and I just pointed to the bobies standing up the road at that point one came forward and told him were to go.

    What a crazy law so you buy a Ifor Williams trailer 3500kg gross a pick it up with say ford mondeo estate and you would be braking the law.
