  1. Paying more in taxes is exactly what the government wants you to do and in turn this will do nothing for manufacturing. The Private sector can only create jobs by being taxed less so more Capital can be reinvested into the economy by hiring more and creating more and selling more. The government should provide basic services and provide for the national defense. Anything else the government involves it's self with is a complete waste of your taxes. easy-lift guy
  2. Just as sad as it is true:thumbdown: easy-lift guy
  3. This information is just one more example of how the stats for calculating all means of production for the US Economy have been revised on average 7 to 10 days after official announcements are made. Like I have said before November will not come soon enough for most Americans. This nightmare of an administration I hope will soon be ending along with most of the trappings in the process. God save the Republic. easy-lift guy
  4. I disagree if taxes are slashed at the pump the Government would have to get it from some where else. At least since I can recall every time taxes are reduced in this country, revenue has ALWAYS gone up. of course that is working with a budget and not being greedy with all that new revenue from all the additional spending that occured from lower taxes. I believe it is a matter of doing with less from the government level down. It seems to me that if the government is not held to the same standards as everyone else, esp when it comes to having a budget and sticking with it than the same results will be achieved for ever. If the VAT Tax could be cut it would cause a rapid expansion of new consumer spending the likes of which your country has not seen in generations, of course that would also mean a cut back of Governemnt services that many in the UK think is included as part of being a citizen or not of the UK. If reductions took place there would be far more to go around and I believe the economy would do much better in the short/long term. My 2 cents worth from the other side of the pond. easy-lift guy
  5. A wise decision:thumbup1: easy-lift guy
  6. Perhaps an idea who's time has come and than some, State side we have Black books of such folks, don't want to end up there. easy-lift guy
  7. Rupe that is a very good point, as a matter of fact I believe they may have done Hodge a favor in the process:001_rolleyes:, all part of the game. easy-lift guy
  8. I can not vouch for prices of oil/fuel products in the UK, however I can say that 2 times since I have been able to vote. I have seen Oil prices drop and finished products also decline in turn, as well as inflation and the cost of goods in general delcine here in the USA. In both cases the powers to be were not the same as the current powers in office in the USA. At least for myself it does make a difference who is in office and leading the country. easy-lift guy
  9. Don't feel so bad, The thugs running this country have never had a budget since being installed into office:thumbdown:, of course they need more time to destroy the balance of the country and nationalize what is left . November will not come soon enough for this American. God save the Republic! ps for the mods, thugs translates into "Chicago speak" for elected officials. Except most of the ones in power ATM are appointed only. easy-lift guy
  10. Go for it!, any time you can show your skills or products to help you do your job faster or better or safer is a . It continues to keep you in front of the public eye and First impressions like this do not come very often in a somewhat controlled marketing environment. No one can pimp yourself or the products you use better than yourself, esp. when you are at the top of your game:thumbup: easy-lift guy
  11. Over here some dealerships have had hundreds stolen overnight being brand new the lining of Platinum is Virgin for smelting off. Shame really since I am sure the floor plan the dealers have don't cover such losses, and insurance go's only so far. easy-lift guy
  12. Patricia, don't think she will be applying for Saint hood any time soon. easy-lift guy
  13. Spot on Steve, you can get what you paid for, and if not Apple would not have the Lions share of the market place. easy-lift guy
  14. Back at you. My sisters birthday as well, guess that is how she got her name? easy-lift guy
  15. Big intro over here today as well, stories of folks sleeping out side stores overnight to be the first to purchase, silly people really do silly things. I got the IPAD II for my Kim for Valentines Day, with the extended warranty for 2 years. At least that way if something does happen new IPAD 3, just in time for IPAD 4!, thanks Mr. Jobs, RIP. easy-lift guy

  18. perhaps, but with the cost of plastic or steel these days I wonder which would really work better or last longer in the long haul? easy-lift guy
  19. Solid tyres are a fine improvement for this product, that being said beware of moisture build up and rust to form between the tyre/rim. I believe this couls occure over time. I would suggest to keep the tryes as clean as possible between the rim/tyre to help reduce the chances of this occuring. easy-lift guy
  20. Looks like the one I worked with in shop class once upon a time. It was a good one. easy-lift guy
  21. Speaking from the other side of the pond, I think this situation with colored fuel tanks and counter persons not being able to read German and such is really insane. I do understand the concern that some stores have due to riots last year and such, however if the folks had a major natural disaster and someone would not sell me fuel becuse I had the wrong color fuel can or not unless you buy my fuel can?. This is just plain wrong, hope it never happens over here, pretty sure the folks would not have it at all. easy-lift guy.
  22. Very sound advise, I do that for my own customers as well:thumbup1: easy-lift guy
  23. Pretty bad, sad. easy-lift guy
  24. Utter stupidity and no communication between ground worker and claw operator. I have seen this many times over the years and people get into a hurry and don't care about what is happening or who gets hurt or killed in the process. easy-lift guy
  25. When I participate in trade shows I always offer show special pricing and extend that discount out 30 days past the show as well. With the shear volume of vendors and understanding how long it takes to go thru ones bag of goodies from said shows it just makes good business sense. easy-lift guy
