  1. Interesting news, only problem with current means of transport it is est. to take only 22,000 years to get to this location. I think I will wait for the movie instead. easy-lift guy
  2. Spikes are so expensive due to libility insurance and if the spikes are made out of Titanium that is another really good reason. easy-lift guy
  3. Way to much, Brass Balls as well! easy-lift guy
  4. This is also true here in the States, esp. here in the State of Florida, sometimes it is nothing more than putting a safety vest and directing traffic away from the accident while others attend to the wounded, until paramedics arrive. or grabbing a fire extinguisher to put out a fire or be ready to put one out if need be. easy-lift guy
  5. Just watched the entire video, that was some interesting train ride!. That aside the mother with child on her lap was pretty bitter at anyone within ear shot and she was not going to let up until she had spoke most if not all of her mind. Real pity stands with the next generation on her lap soaking all up like a sponge. Here in the states we have bitter folks exchanging verbal barbs like that all the time and sometimes worse. The media here takes it all in and creates reality shows that cater to bitter folks and the cycle continues. I do not believe the mother and child will ever be happy and play the part of bitter folks where ever they can. More than likely generational, regrettably. easy-lift guy
  6. If you did not file a police report at the scene do so ASAP. Her profession has nothing to do with the fact per say but her attitude was poor at best. I hope your son makes a full recovery. easy-lift guy
  7. Greetings Steve, Two items I noticed missing from your thread would be any and all insurance needed for your new business venture and any and all Licenses. If I wanted to hirer someone out for sub-contract work that would have to be enforce. Otherwise it sounds like you have done some marketing work towards your new career and I believe between your desire and knowledge to post here first you will be able to make a go of it in time. All the best easy-lift guy
  8. Fast Orange or Goo Gone. Works well for us state side. easy-lift guy

  10. Try closing everything out and reboot the computer. Log in again and see what happens? easy-lift guy

  12. Thanks, kimtree The belt is still in very good condition and functions well for my needs at this time. One day it will be retired for the shelf. easy-lift guy
  13. Took a look at the Hayes Otoupalik site and that belt looks pretty close except my waist belt is adjustable with Brass hard wear. It appears to be made of the same material and the OD color is spot on. Perhaps some handy person created a climbing belt or linesman belt out of the original design?. Thanks straight fell my belt maybe has been ID'ed. easy-lift guy:thumbup1:
  14. Welcome Red: I believe you will be among very good company. easy-lift guy
  15. Perhaps once you have determined who owns the property that the tree was located on you may be able to file a claim against that persons homeowners policy for losses sustained. I do not know how helpful the tree report may be with your claim esp. if the report is inconclusive. I wish you the best with your investigation. easy-lift guy
  16. There is no print or labels. I think Klein would have had something at least on the buckle it to has no markings?. easy-lift guy
  17. WeeDee I still use it out of a bucket and with a little bit of climbing while tieing into a trunk. Still works well and will be using tomorrow for a reduction on a Loquat tree.
  18. Thanks all and no its not a contest with a prize, just curious. easy-lift guy
  19. Greetings fellow members. I was wondering if anyone can id this belt. I still use it and have never seen one like it before?. Perhaps Grand dad can ID the belt? Thanks e:thumbup1:asy-lift guy
  20. IMO this job based on the specs listed is really a whopper! I could not begin to try to price a job like this and even if your plant material did survive which I believe most would not, I would find it difficult to believe you could possible profit from such a job. I believe you would do yourself better and decline this offer and move on to greener pastures. easy-lift guy
  21. Them crafty Americans!,what will they think of next? Thanks for sharing NI trees. easy-lift guy
  22. Or you could check out my thread entitled Means & methods of protecting your Kit from theft. I believe I covered larger equipment as well. easy-lift guy
  23. I guess the Ivy has been cut and the roots removed?, if that be the case no need for Round-up. easy-lift guy
  24. If you have cut all of the stems I would treat them with Round-up and allow the balance on the wall to die a slow death. I guess your not wanting the material to return?. Depending on your time frame the longer you give it time to dry out the easier it will be to remove. Otherwise I am not aware of any chemical that can speed up the process. I guess you will have to ask your insurance agent about coverage past gutter level, don't have that type of restriction over here. easy-lift guy
