  1. I use my pulley saver as well. Much less friction on retrieval and why not as it cost a lot and I would rather it be used.
  2. Can't be bothered to read all other posts. Wore my old Sequioia today then put my tree motion back on...ahhhhhhhhh.

    Bad dreams

    What's funny:confused1:

    Bad dreams

I know what you mean. Dreams that impact on your day when you keep thinking WTF was that all about. I suffered from sleep apnea for a short while which used to scare the crap out of me. My dreams are always full HD but I have learnt to try and control them.
  5. I use a sack barrow. £60 screw fix. It's also handy for moving trees to planting.
  6. Well I don't know what it is? All I know is it's day 5, I can get out of bed if I roll onto the floor, and my hair hurts!! When I have managed some kip it doesn't last long with terrifying dreams of Jimmy Bullard, Bargain Hunt, and Storage Hunters (especially UK)! I'm beginning to see the light about football. I'm blaming statins my doctor prescribed. I don't feel right taking them and I have read that they suppress your immune system. You would have thought 5 days in bed you'd be fresh as a daisy?!
  7. Just had 1.5 weeks off because of a football injury. Yesterday I got flu and feel like...
  8. 395 definitely. I am well chuffed with it.
  9. With self belief, strength, and confidence height means nothing. In his head he's hanging from his kitchen door mounted pull up bar. Still missed a trick not putting a 'chute on and BASE jumping out of there. Impressed...YES!
  10. Is it just me that likes to keep my spikes as far away from my rope as poss'?
  11. 3 things; Tools for the job. When climbing wear climbing specific footwear. Be careful. Where was the parachute??! That's a jump!
  12. So you are telling these people what to do then paying an invoice on completion of the work you told them to do. Sounds like an employer to me? I think I'll listen to the pro's.
  13. If I wasn't climbing I'd probably go for wellies. Slip on an off no wet feet in winter last longer than leather boots.
  14. Mate the UK is behind on everything. Short term solutions to long term problems. When the Eton rifles stop pretending they're still at school with all their house points, and the winner who gets the job of running the country actually has some Jacobs then something might come from it. Don't get me started.
  15. Last time I looked my local tip was £80 per ton green waste. 10 mins down the road a private company is £35 per ton. My local tip operators are already awarded a contract for refuse (Violia) and make out of recycling our metal etc from that site. If they came in line with the local firm more people would go there. You'll never stop pikies fly tipping though.
  16. I'd price in a 3rd man if I was you. The picture in my mind is a large defective Ash being rigged down and a pile of crap building up on the deck waiting for you. Large cavity etc? Not inspiring me a great deal. Sounds a load of hassle being that far away start smaller work out your daily costs, tipping, what income you want, what profit you want.
  17. Know the feeling mate. Stretched a tendon 2 weeks ago at football, it pulled the bone up with the tendon head. Reckon It'll be another 2 weeks of light duties. Carefull at work not so out of work...duh!!
  18. Best you could do is pick up the phone and talk to mechanics not dealers. They'll give you the true story. I want the IVECO 4x4.
  19. Nearly came to blows last week with a chap in a nice shiny van after he walked into my garage where I keep all my kit asking if I wanted cheap power tools. I told him to do one. He asked if I was a boxer I said no, didn't tell him about the Thai bit. He thought twice anyway when he saw Big Ziggy the Dobermann who doesn't like strangers on his patch😃. I called the Police but now I'm paranoid again. I'm thinking about putting electric stock fencing along the top of my fence.
  20. At last I can bring the old Petzl down off the shelf. One of the bolt heads went after one bridge change, I only wanted the bolt which I thought would be a standard part to pick up from a fixings retailer. Pathetic how you would have to send the harness off and lose days waiting around for a simple part. That was another nail in the Petzl coffin for me that put them in pound land:thumbdown:
