  1. Indeed gloves are for girls. Anyone seen that McCoys crisps advert?
  2. Tried the mesh gog's and found the normal wrap arounds work best as you can take them off easily but still make you go cross eyed. Prefer visor still but check out any paintball website for them.
  3. Summer Dormancy. It's been pretty hot these past 2 weeks plants tend to conserve water themselves. Birch are pretty hardy pioneer species that invest a lot in reproduction I would be more concerned if the reduction made substantial pruning cuts that will decay in the near future.
  4. FR Jones forestry show in Kent end of July up and down 50 feet up to 20 times have a look.
  5. Cheers that's what I was after.
  6. Evening. Having driven 6.5T trucks for other people in the past they were off the road for a service every 6 weeks. I have heard of a restricted O licence that entails a fee etc etc but does it still have to have that service every 6 weeks just after a bit of info' before I talk to whoever it is I need to talk to? Thank you gentlemen
  7. Top climber who can do anything £180-£200 a day or however much I can realistically pay. The way I see it is if plumbers etc can charge up to £300 a day so can I and our work is by far harder and dangerous.
  8. Too true you show me a tree surgery truck that's not overloaded and I will show you a black Chiropodist who laughs at defeat. My Canter rarely comes in under 4.5t with full load of chip, 2 men, and a couple of saws.
  9. Bowl of Weetos in the morning 0730. Dinner (warmed up in microwave) any time after 1900.

    Parkrun

I did my first Parkrun in January this year after threatening to go the last 2 years. Before last Saturdays Parkrun I had a few beers, a ruby (Jalfrezi, Madras, and Vindaloo), and 4 hours kip, at the finish I grabbed my bar code and carried on running straight to the Khazi...never again no wonder I put in a good time!
  11. Try Osteo you get skeletal manipulation with phys'. Failing that take up Thai boxing or just stretch.
  12. Good morning all. If anyone is interested I have my Suzuki GSXR K2 for sale on eBay. It is yellow and black I'm in Walton on Thames and it's for sale under Hersham.boys.
  13. Got a phone call yesterday from a mate in the know giving me a heads up because I use the ZZ about 2 climbers falling from 5m the second from 20m and is in critical shape. I was told it was the swivel that failed:confused1:
  14. Don't worry I bamboozle myself on a daily regular basis. Nice use of the word bamboozled though. Have a thumbs up emoticon:thumbup1:
  15. What about the law abiding cotizens on the overloaded thread?
  16. Get to the back.
  17. "He has commited no sin shall cast the first stone". This thread reminds me of the public stoning in "The life of Brian".
  18. Where's the operator I can only see a floating saw, must be one of the new lightweight jobs Stihl has brought out?
  19. I'm more concerned about being overloaded with a 3.5T tipper when daily us guys make well over a ton of chip plus log, and rakings on average and fill the wagons right to the top of the greedy boards if it means that is what we have to do to make the monies for the day.
  20. Sorry to hear the news mate. I got turned over on Boxing Day so I looked up Guard Dogs UK and got a Doberman that looks after my kit now. Mark at "Guard Dogs UK" has been training yard dogs to single handler dogs for 30 years the Dobey I have is brilliant as a family protection dog, food for thought.
  21. Just like at the end of Predator eh. Hasta lavista babyyyy.
  22. Hello Mate I looked into this a few years ago. Try looking at some Arb companies web sites and email them after checking out the areas they work in. Do a little homework and make some contacts is my advice. Good luck mate.
  23. Working with a mate today and his oil pump on the 66 stopped working. Could be an omen I think I'm going for the Husqy.
  24. I've only really used Stihl on occasion's I have used a Husqy. I know what the spec's say but Husqy's feel as if they rev higher not bogging down as much as the Stihl. At the mo' it seems the Husqy is edging it. I heard that Stihl is going to discontinue the 66 soon. Thanks for the replys guys. Carl
  25. Hi Jon. Which ever saw I opt for I will be going for the 30 inch bar. Carl
