  1. Judging from the pic' 2 men 1 day 2 vans. Lower everything in large sizes the stem looks about 8m to break park the truck close as and launch rings straight in the back. £800.00-£1000.00.
  2. Elton John has released a commemorative single to mark the death of Osama Bin Laden, it's called "Sandals in the bin".
  3. Apparently they weren't sure it was a woman she was wearing a full Burka.
  4. Is it just me or is £170.00 for the new BS3998 RECOMMENDATIONS a little on steep side? I can't see many small companies seeing that as a top priority investment. For me though I am taking the practical for the Tech cert arb this year and know that questions will be asked on this. No doubt there are some hair brained ideas in there and new schools of thought that will be out dated by next week but £170.00 + VAT come on:confused1:
  5. I don't have any room for a tank in my yard:biggrin:
  6. And wasn't it nice of Obumhole to say thank you to all other countries involved! Considering their mode of entry ie no carpet bombing and also no civilians being killed is he sure it wasn't the SAS?? Proper muslims are becoming more agitated at these extremists so they are finding less places to turn to. Soon their teenage tantrums will come to an end either that or all the oil will run dry in the middle east and they will all be asked politely to vacate the UK.
  7. I had a classic where this posh bloke asked what I was doing with my Euc' logs? I was busy and still had a few loads to cart. I said help yourself take as much as you want. Then he said to me "what I usually do is charge £70 a load". The world stopped turning for a moment then I said "you're all right mate" and we laughed him off site and into his Mitsubishi Shogun and dinky ickle trailer!:lol
  8. We could do with some of those dummies down our gym for training purposes!
  9. Same in any competitive industry. You gotta fight ignore the **** and do a better job than any other......stay late go the extra mile. Get a good rep' and people will fall over themselves to get you. Failing that start up yourself it ain't hard in this buis'! Good luck blue.
  10. That attitude you describe is exactly why this industry was overtaken by forestry! Well said.
  11. John Maclean AKA Bruce of the Willis may take exceptional exception to any one slateing the beater!!
  12. Shared the van with my first HORNET!!!! of the year today. Ooh and I too had a massive wee at 0500......and woke up at 0630!
  13. Lundun please. I'm itchin' to know da inz an' de owtz o' 3998:confused1:
  14. I'll tell that to my local tree officer then.
  15. There is a company in Chobham, Surrey, that has various area codes that all go through to their Chobham office! I have seen quite alot of them quoting around my area even down my road in one of their so called office areas of Hersham???????????!!!! I would say it does work, don't know how much it costs though? When I say down my road, I park my van with "tree surgery" in big letters written on it. When I spoke to my neighbour who had this company in they said "Oh!, if I knew you were a tree surgeon I would have got you to do it"!! Oh, big kiss x
  16. Hold up no one could hold a candle to Big Daddy or Giant Hay stacks, easy eeasy eeeasy eeeaasy eeeaaasssyyyyy!!!
  17. Yeah baby no retreat no surrender Thai boxing rocks:thumbup:
  18. Should be on par with prof dip. When I sat the exam last year I was told it was going to marked exactly the same. That wasn't from a bloke down the pub that thinks he's Elvis either......Elvis has left the building.
  19. Squats, deadlifts, work on your triceps. Knock the bench on the head for a while try active rest or just do something else for 2 weeks. Any who how much do you weigh? And don't go down the supplement rout mate it's bullocks and for crazy fools!
  20. I have a Dosco. The hand brake dosn't seem to work very well on these, requiring alot of maintenance. I never use the brake, I let the wheels dig in to the grindings and if need be kick grindings behind the wheels. Using the drive to grind is more energy efficient but seems to snap drive belts!
  21. NICE!! I wish I could put enough money on a job to do that. With so much competition around me there is someone who would probably do that for about £2.50 though.
  22. I find my green lazer pointer comes in handy in these cases. Take a picture and mark a clear line on it then add an indecisive customer tax on the quote.
