  1. Sorry. Wrong forum, embarrassing.
  2. I doubt they will turn a blind one. Probably been looking on arbtalk's over loaded thread Yeeeeeeee Haaaaaaaaaaa. Too much paperwork tied up in them foreign types including those from over seas.
  3. You can do both if you feel it is justified. The base then becomes your back up.
  4. Pipes infiltrated by roots make money. To make one solid pipe that doesn't deteriorate, bends and flexes is possible but won't make money. Don't invent a pipe that encourages roots.
  5. It's just a case of putting your HAAS or any other rope grab on the line, put the tail through the biner and either chuck a few handfulls of rope the direction you are going or clip the tail into a wire gate revolver on your bridge to keep the tail with you. 20 seconds set up 3 clips and done. I only use it on tricky limbs as well.
  6. Rope grab minus wire = fail. Sorry to hear it bud, at least it wasn't a sticky biner that just needed a soak. Leave out of the inspection next time because you bought it the day after.
  7. The worst thing I did with my ropes was to use a Prussik on them and not even with a pulley. Horrendous!
  8. Get rid of the Kong. I saw a pic' of a knee ascender being used instead, just use a cheap pulley like a Petzl micro to go on the 'biner that attaches to your boot. Another one of those "Oh yeah" moments for me. Stream line man.
  9. No belly aching here I exercise my right not to vote although I can vote none of the above. Like I said tit bits to keep you happy. If they want to pass a bill they will one way or another with or without your vote.
  10. The sooner people wake up and realise voting is a waste of time the better. If no one votes what will they do? Politicians are puppets and their game is deception. They throw the voters a few tit bits now and again but essentially nothing changes or will if we keep voting.
  11. Out spoken about Roy but Roy was his senior and very proficient even more so without gloves. Fight talk is banter taken very seriously by non fighters.
  12. The only book I have read cover to cover in one sitting. Who remembers him on "Wogan" when he broke the arm off the sofa?
  13. Did she read his palm or tea leaves to predict this?
  14. That's a shame mate. Things change and new people come along some good some bad. I was off training for nearly a year and came back to almost all new faces. Woking has a good vibe though no bullies and no Primma donnas well they don't last long put it that way.🤔
  15. Woking Thai Boxing. What are those things on your elbows?😄 Keep up the good work.👊🏻💥👍🏻
  16. Less than £250. Couldn't get more than that for mine when I tried selling so kept it.
  17. Boundary line applies to roots as well. A visit to neighbour with follow up correspondence would be advisable to the people having the landscaping. The trees need reducing or removing else the owner of trees will be negligent if any more uproot after they have been made aware of the root severance. In this instance they may have had no idea of the ground works. Looks like another one to chalk down to blind ignorance?
  18. The rope jumps out enough just wearing one. I would be a gibbering mess if I had two.
  19. Hello mate, I use a bastardised strimmer harness for heavy saws. Attach the strop to the back plate no more slippy harness.
  20. You wouldn't pass your climbing tickets or chainsaw use without PPE it doesn't matter what kit you use. I wish he would at least tie the bloody ladder onto the stem and hook his leg through it if he can't be bothered to kit up properly.
  21. If that is new turf the area would probably have been rotovated before laying which would have done a lot of damage to fibrous roots as well.
