  1. Cod liver oil - no joke. Take it for a few weeks and you will notice the difference! BBC News | HEALTH | Cod liver oil benefits confirmed
  2. We have a Uniforest 35M on our 35hp tractor and rate it very highly. Very good value as well.
  3. Anyone running a V8 defender as a work truck? I have seen a 110 hicap V8 with LPG and am considering it. With LPG I think I should get 20-25mpg? What are they like for towing compared with say a TDI?
  4. Handy little tool makes life a bit easier....
  5. I started using an Austrian Scythe a few years back and love it. So light and nimble and much more fun than a strimmer! Here is a video of us mowing this summer:
  6. You need to be very careful about how the boiler stove is sized for you room / central heating / hot water: Boiler stove sizing wizard, view compatible woodburning boiler stoves
  7. Portable winch? Portable Forestry Winch - PCW5000 - Treadlight Forestry
  8. I would go for a new chassis. The way defenders hold their value you would likely make a fair bit back if you ever sold it on. A galv chassis 300tdi is always going to get a good price.
  9. Pretty sure my genuine 026 cylinder is the same. It has never been a problem.
  10. Would this not work? NEW T-MAX 12V PORTABLE AIR COMPRESSOR 72LPM OFF ROAD 4X4 TYRE PUMP BA 2641 | eBay
  11. Anything that reduces the cost will help more people to switch. I would much rather have 25 litre cans at home and then a 5 litre for taking out for the day.
  12. Is this the same one but cheaper? [ame=http://www.amazon.co.uk/Nilfisk-X-Tra-Pressure-Washer-1400W/dp/B00AGD5J02#productDetails]http://www.amazon.co.uk/Nilfisk-X-Tra-Pressure-Washer-1400W/dp/B00AGD5J02#productDetails[/ame]
  13. The value of a woodland is the trees. Without them it is a long time before anyone will see a return on their money. Maybe 2K per acre for a clearfell site? Maybe less.
  14. Chalara legislation on the timber and firewood trades
  15. When I spoke to Datatag earlier in the year they told me it was a pilot scheme. If it goes well the will rollout to every Stihl dealer in the UK. Hopefully other brands take note and get on board as well. It is not a silver bullet but it does make convictions a lot easier. https://datatag.co.uk/news/news_113.php
  16. Just to follow up we did get one of these little cranes and it has been brilliant. No it is not as good as FEL but its suits the little alpine well and has been paying for itself shifting scrap! If you don’t have any sort of lift on your tractor I say get one
  17. This was posted the other day - maybe that would work for you? http://arbtalk.co.uk/forum/stolen-equipment/72846-gps-security-tracker-discount-deal.html
  18. Feedback all seems good! http://arbtalk.co.uk/forum/general-chat/50476-portable-winch.html
  19. Go direct to Makita: Makita UK - Service Care
  20. Yes the balance on them is great, as is the fact the front end can twist to keep all four wheels on the ground. I think they are rated to lift 890kg on the arms but as the whole thing only weighs 1100kg I am not sure you could actually get that without some more weight on the front. The turf tyre are what it had on when I found it - apparently it was being used to paint the lines on football pitches I am planning to get some taller, deeper tread tyres as this will also give me a bit more ground clearance. But it needs to earn some money first before I can afford it!
  21. http://www.caravanclub.co.uk/media/6678669/noseweights-mo.pdf
  22. I went to pick up my new Uniforest 3.5 winch today. Very happy with it. It sits really nicely on the AGT835 and seems to be very solidly built. I will try and sort out some action shots once I have the PTO sorted.
  23. Have you tried NFU?
  24. I am planning on getting my Uniforest 3.5 winch hooked up to the AGT on Wednesday. I will get some photos posted when I have it sorted.
