  1. The key was still in the ignition from the time it was last running to when it wouldn't start and is intact with no damage. No fuel leakage can be seen and the fuel tank is over 1/4 full. It just seems like the fuel has been switched off. Why do I get the feeling this is going to be expensive. Thanks for you help and advice. Will drag it back tomorrow to fix it
  2. Daft question where would that be ?
  3. I've got a y reg transit with dura torq engine and it won't start. Will turn over but not start. Was working fine. Any help as now stuck in a fencing firms yard scratching me balding head
  4. No. Total waste of space round our area. Only reason i would would be for a crime number for insurance. What's gets me is there "greater than you attitude " and they claim that they to busy doing paperwork to investigate crime. But if they not investigating where's the paperwork coming from
  5. A good forklift will help LOTS. Just done mine with the help of a free standing overhead hoist 2 blocks of wood and a long thick plank.
  6. Get some thick plastic sheet from builders. Cut to size and make a couple. Roll up, stuff in net and let go. Better than plastic containers. Works for me
  7. Where about in Nottingham are you
  8. well worth the money. Done my processor and a reduction in my insurance to
  9. Still running. It has a intact fine gauze filter in the filler so very little large stuff gets through and its mainly been filled buy me since some plonka filled it with petrol a few years ago resulting in a total tank drain and filter change.
  10. So. Changed the fuel filter today and noticed the inline hand primer didn't seem to be working (no resistance) Blew fuel line with air back tank then blew air back into hand primer. Fitted all back together and there was resistance in the hand primer and fuel was being drawn through. Got it running. Been up and down me chipping pile and moved a load. Didn't miss a beat. One question. Could the hand primer be removed ?
  11. Thanks all. Will check all as suggested and see what happens. Will let you know the out come or just set fire to it:001_smile:
  12. I have mini digger with a 3 cylinder perkins engine and when you either drive up a hill, on to the trailer or a sudden jolt it either cuts out or miss fires badly so you cannot operate it. Have checked filters and changed. Fuel tank is clean (checked with small inspection camera). Some times it works fine all day and some times its a total git and is doing my head in. Any ideas or advice would be a great help before I start hitting it with a big hammer

  15. You will be surprised at what sort of people take wood and it ain't all the travelling type
  16. People think they have the right to take what they want as it only wood. Had a tree down in the next village in a allotment and some guys were cutting it up with chainsaws till late at night (past 11pm) in the rain. When challenged buy the police the claimed as it had fallen down it was free for anyone to collect. I'm going to set a camera at some of my log piles to catch them give them a chance to pay for what they stolen or force the police to act or u tube
  17. Horse chestnut, pop, lime, silver birch. Though most of mine never last's longer than a year. I end up selling it

  19. Depends. Is it in the round or split. Covered or not
