  1. Very nice. Some people have way to much time on there hands. I spend my spare time fixing things my family have broken.

  5. I've got a newbie started up near me. According to his advert he's selling a 1 tonne bag for 40 quid. Think I should buy it all. I hope there's a tonne in it

  7. I'd like to see them take you to court on that charge. I can just see the officer notes : I was driving by a house on my rounds when I saw a man splitting logs so I arrested him for not having a waste license.
  8. I do try to tell them after 18/19 years of selling logs I do have a rough idea of what i'm doing and selling. But theres always some who knows better even if they had the fire fitted last year
  9. What's the point of cctv if you don't get any backup from the coppers. You cannot show there faces as it infringes there human rights. If you injure them in anyway they sue the arse off you. All paid for by the tax payer. US. Make life as hard as possible for them and if they are determined save your old dead saws close to hand or the front door. They'll nick anything. They not going to check if they working while nicking them

  14. Van now sorted. Change flexi hoses on both sides and problem now gone. Thanks for all the advice very helpful. All I need now is to get the windscreen fixed and i'm back on the road

    Golf balls

    Nice to see i'm not that unlucky. I wasn't on the golf course just driving buy and I did find the guy who hit it . He was very sorry. He managed to slice it round a house through trees and in my windscreen. The club secretary has been very helpful the windscreen firm NOT. A week to get it sorted. Managed to get it sorted on wednesday

  17. Was thinking vacuum pump Can a simple tested be done to check in. The hoses look ok on the out side would they breakdown from within. Thanks Tyz will check tomorrow

    Golf balls

    Anyone had there van window smashed by a golf ball while driving down the road. Scared the cr*p out of me and my 6 year old son and it was on the 13th
  19. My Y reg 2000 model transit front brakes seem to be sticking on when I brake hard and then slowly release. I've checked them today and removed the guide pins top and bottom,(that hold the two halve together) cleaned up and re greased. The brake callipers look in good condition. Any idea what it could be

  23. Drag to about a foot of the end of truck grab far two loops and pull over. Logs fall out on to floor bag should stay in truck. Just watch ankles if standing on floor and tipping

  25. Could you leave it to soak overnight in a tub full save coating it several times
