  1. Or just leave em guessing its more fun
  2. Don't rent them out without operator to anyone even the mates that tell you they will look after it as though it was there own. Will always comeback knackered. Though you could make some good money hired out with operator
  3. Ransom wood have installed your carving. Near the coffee shop. Looks good
  4. Way to much spare time. I would of used the hand for number 2 and stuck it on the future inlaws table. (but that's me). Good luck for the future. If you put as much effort into married life as you do your carvings she's going to be one happy wife
  5. Flail mower . Just keep mowing every 2-3 days for about 2weeks. Should chop up nicely
  6. Are the post pullers any good for just the bases. The ones i come across are below ground hidden and the posts have been snapped off. The ones you don't see till its to late and you cannot avoid them and have to pull em out
  7. Its quite a wide grab good for moving logs, and large lumps but don't seem to grip to well when pulling something out the ground. I was thinking something like log grabs but heavy duty
  8. The last two jobs have already had 2 fences with concrete bases so staggering them was impossible. If you did try and miss the old bases you still need to remove the first one or last one. The idea of digging them out leaves a big hole. I was thinking of something that could grip them to pull them straight out. Also the hole is ready made. The grip thingy is ideal but i don't want to be messing about drilling. Just trying to make life easier and use what machinery i have
  9. Been doing some fencing over the past couple of weeks and the last 2 jobs have had to pull out the old concrete posts bases (no posts attached). Any ideas how you could pull them out like pulling out a cork. I have a 1.5 ton digger but when you dig them out you leave a BIG hole and me grab is to big
  10. I was going to but was persuaded not to by my brother. I think they would of still smashed my window just to see if anything inside
  11. Karma
  12. I hope they die a very painful death
  13. Bolt to chassis bolts where the tipper frame bolts on. I do have 2 steel ones for sale.
  14. Ali ones from metallics uk. The handles have been broken but look easy to replace. Keys were in the van if they bothered to look. The D#*kheads
  15. Just spoke to insurance. If only the police were as usefull they come out with the same poo who ever you talk to. I did notice when i left that the overworked and stressed police force had time to drive through mc Ds only a few hundred yards form the break in. Nice to see they have there priorities right
  16. Thanks Rob, Stubby. It all happened at Newark about a mile from the police station. But i would recommend the storage boxes they took the abuse quite well
  17. Should have be looked at today but some scrote broke into it last night (look in stolen thread) . My days just keep getting better
  18. I had my van parked at my brothers work yard overnight and guess what some scrote smashed me driver side window ransacked me truck (i think) and tried to get into me underbody storage boxes damaging the lock handles. Not much has been taken as the van is empty of tools. The best bit is the police have done sod all other than a crime number and a visit to my home to do an interview. As been said on here before what's the point in reporting crime if the do sod all about it. I'm glad i emptied it of tools but pissed off that i have to make another claim on my insurance and the turd who smashed me van up gets away free
  19. 35quid cost us 60. Next time I'm in your area getting 2 bottles. ( wherever you are)

  21. Thanks guys. Mowing it is then
  22. Nettles, thistles, docks, and ground elder. They growing quicker than the grass. Need to give grass a chance
  23. I dug over a garden about 2 weeks ago and reseeded. The seed is just starting to grow but so are the weeds. When would be a good time to spray Grazon on it without upsetting the grass
  24. Got it back to the garage this morning, plugged computer thingy in said it was the control unit for injector pump. Cannot get it seen to till Wednesday. Total pain
  25. Thanks for all your info. Will give everything a go in the morning and see what happens. If not its a gentle tow back home
