  1. Had one for 6years. Good bit of kit if u doing small volumes of fire wood. Simple to work on if you got a small mechanical knowledge. Paid for itself in first year of buying it.( I did pay £4500 brand new and sold it for £3950 after 6 years)
  2. I got a couple of rolls of polly from the guys that cover the carrots for winter in the fields. 1 roll should last a lifetime. Cut a length off and use to tip on or cover over. Its lightweight rolls up to nothing everyone's happy. No need to collect later
  3. Absolutely brilliant. But that's just my opinion
  4. Be careful when building your own dryer. A guy down the road did now he's selling charcoal
  5. Buy 1 u tight git. I looked into making one. By the time you sorted materials out, construction time and everything else its easier and cheaper to buy one. Plus you don't have to stop work to build it. (my kids did it)
  6. Twice as long from one end to the middle then:001_tongue:. Save some to be cut for those special customers. Keeps everyone happy then. (if that's possible)
  7. Goodpig on here he's good. Very good
  8. Merlo can't fault them. Good solid machine
  9. The Copper Beech at Bilsthorpe, Nottinghamshire and it does have a very large copper beech outside. The tree is probably older than the pub
  10. Bad news. Hope the police were as helpful as usual. Better increase security incase the little basket cases come back
  11. Here we go again ☹
  12. Brilliant. Don't think that will scare them this time. Did you sell the other one
  13. Will be fun trying to get the spikes into the tubes especially on uneven ground
  14. You may find the sun destroys you nets.
  15. Is it your side of the tree or his
  16. Burns great. Good for getting the heat up quick and good for kindling. Split it and stack it now in a sunny spot with a roof over it it will be dry for winter. Most wood takes about 4 months to dry it stored correctly. The 1 year rule is a load of rubbish if stored correctly
  17. That simple
  18. Been asked to re gravel an area in front of a posh block of flats. I've measured the area but I'm useless at working out how much gravel is going to be needed. What is the best way of working it out
  19. Find Goodpig on here he's brilliant at carving and I think he's up that direction
  20. Stick it on a pallet and sell it. Some plonka will pay £60 for that
  21. Probably means he's going to have to work to make a living like the rest of us. How do you not make a business with a £100,00 grant and a £1 woodland. Where's the money gone in 3 years
  22. TSW at Woodbrough. It other side of Mansfield to you but they have a tracked and towable Forst
  23. You can take hopper off and roller box together. (with mine you can). Just done mine. Didn't take pipes off just turned to one side and removed anvil
  24. A hoist is useful if you on your own. Remove spare wheel and hang from spare wheel bracket
  25. Do you dry your stuff you burn in your kiln and what sort of price do you sell a cube.
