  1. So what"s the question? (if there is one!)
  2. Yeah, saw that on earborist , thought the same.
  3. Top 'em by a third or a half, they'll be fine, Do as the client asks.
  4. At 33 you are a young lad (to me anyway) if you were 43 I think it would be more of an issue. In a strange twist I wish I could retrain as a builder (well at least have the ability to work more on my own house!) Good luck anyway.
  5. Whether this confused explanation is right or not (and I would need verification from Tony or Steve) I stand by my original statement. Be as insulted as you see fit.
  6. Posts 717 and 724 on this thread provide an idea of what I mean.......
  7. They might not call you! seriously though I don't chip stuff I did not cut but someone might, or maybe a friend has a tranny or trailer.
  8. Or they could get a price to chip it all and save themselves a few quid. Just because she sounds like Vicki Pollard does not mean she's thick.
  9. On this particular thread I'm afraid nothing but unstinting praise and breathless admiration is tolerated by the op.
  10. Tthere is no definitive answer though I am told overuse of question marks can cause it! so be careful Huck or it will be you behind the shed inserting high strength supps up your jacksie while the groundsman diverts the client.
  11. For some Huck, for some:001_smile:no one is suggesting your tradesmen's is anything but impeccable.
  12. Piles are a fact of life, heavy lifting etc can bring em on, they should only last a week or so, I have had them on or off for 25yrs, it's not new climbing techniques you need, it's refining your suppository insertion.
  13. Ah I see, good point.
  14. TBH I've not used them for years does not seem to matter, the very lightest of touches with a flat file if blunt.
  15. I see the transfer box and the engine have the usual leaks! how long has it been parked there, 10mins!
  16. Appreciate it, thanks:thumbup:
  17. Would you say it loses power at the wheel in comparison to a belt driven model with the same engine?
  18. To use a tennis metaphor, the ball is very much in your court.
  19. care to enlarge?
  20. I would've thought any agricultural engineer to sort that out in an hour, 100 quid lighter, back to work.
  21. TBH Rob if you are offering a full time job then yes, I can understand it. For a few freelance days however I can see why some people might be a little laissez-faire. I mean most firms would say "come along for a day and let's see what your like" Cvs don't count for much really do they?
  22. Well explained, simple but effective diagram. food for thought there.
  23. good answer!
