  1. It was a take down; just put your spikes on!
  2. Thanks, I think I will forward this to my brother who fits autosteer units to tractors, because I'd be lying if I said I understood all that.
  3. entendu, thanks
  4. :blushing:Never thought of that! thanks (pipe size is irrelevant then?)
  5. Thanks, I think a stumbling block may be that the fittings are 3/8ths whereas the majority of tools run on 1/2 inch(I think)
  6. Like many on here I have a Land Rover special vehicles with a hydraulic winch (that I love!) and a plugging in point for tools, I have never used it although I know it works. does any one on here use this facility for splitters, hydraulic saws etc? if so any pics, stories?
  7. Are you sure it wasn't Royston Vasey?
  8. Football is more exciting, skilful and athletic than ever before. Plus lets remember all these "foreigners" who play in England pay income tax on the money that they earn. Money that often comes outside the uk (saudi oil money or Russian oil money or even Indian chicken money!) pumping millions weekly into the exchequer.
  9. plus beaten united home and away
  10. Oh here we go, why is it Rugby fans have to go on and on about how well behaved everyone is? so what! football fans, like me, do not always go on about what a rubbish game rugby is, played by fatties who were not good enough for the school football team. you know why? because football is a better game. borne out by is world wide appeal. Whereas egg chasing is only played to any standard by 5 or 6 countries. Ps well done City, real drama!
  11. Another thing I thought of, if I am reducing a hedge with the chipper and truck my charges are the same as climbing a big tree, my costs are the same so why charge less? (really hairy trees are different of course) Have a good weekend,
  12. Time you got that Greenmech then ,let's see him compete then, seriously though here or outre-manche you're always going to lose some little stuff to the one man band working for beer money.
  13. Every job is different, you cannot (imo) pin people down on price according to a chart, there are so many variables, I always work by the day as over here, as I am sure you know, jobs can be many miles apart, not having a go at Ty.
  14. Interesting but complete BS of course.
  15. West Sussex surely! how dare you!
  16. Quite, I have been to see trees and said to the client that I could stand here and make a convincing argument to fell this tree, and another one to retain it, and both would have genuine merit, I think the key is to listen to the client; what do they want?
  17. Sounds nasty, soft tissue injuries are the worst, why not perfect your written italian? always wondered why you left there to go back to rainy scotland.
  18. I imagine he means reduce, if so 290quid; done by lunch time easy.
  19. [QUOTE=Rich Rule;674029]There was 1 of 2 reasons I went into the woods. If I had taken my camera, the fellas would have started wondering. I did take a picture of a mushroom whilst in the Arctic Circle though a couple of years ago. Krakmo, North of Norway. Can you confirm what it is? Cheers. Cottaging?
  20. Sounds like you are trying to get out of paying the lucky winner!
  21. Yes, filling the gearbox can be a pain though, anyone on here got any tips?
  22. Shame you are not going to make as much as you thought, Pops can take you by surprise. Always the next job!
  23. Love them, this was mine, had to sell it:cry: getting a used Ranger in 3 weeks. I needed something less agricultural than the landy (which I am keeping)
