  1. I won't be as diplomatic as Log-dog, I am not by any means a Liverpool fan, but anyone who knows anything about the game (you clearly don't) knows that Gerrard is an absolute legend. A brilliant footballer who has, by and large, conducted himself impeccably.
  2. I have stihl blowers backpack and hand held and honestly my advice is get a cheapy, it's only a blower nothing complex, under no real strain, you pay for the name. Obviously chainsaws are a different kettle of fish.
  3. I reckon he probably broke a fence panel or two, still saved money on getting a tree surgeon in. Plus I reckon his adrenal gland got a good workout!
  4. A chance to watch that 35 million pound lampost Carroll! A draw would suit me.
  5. Looks like you left a sarnie in your bag!
  6. Always makes me laugh when people say "what's it worth?" when they actually mean "someone make me an offer!"
  7. Your instinct is to hang on to an expensive piece of machinery, hindsight is a wonderful thing!
  8. You make them sound like Amazonian indians:001_smile:
  9. Google "Stumpbusters" should answer your question.
  10. Had a job to fell a medium beech some years ago, put a line up, put the gob in and boom over she went without a back cut, did not look too healthy but you would not of thought it was that fragile.
  11. It is on from time to time, always worth a look.
  12. Harry Carpenter,Norman Tebbit, Roman Abramovich (one of his estates) Damon Hill. er that's it. Oh yeah James Bolam.
  13. Fair enough. Stay in bed that day, you will make more money than them!
  14. She's pulling your chain.
  15. That, however, is a nice story.
  16. Ha Ha, very true.
  17. plum of some description?
  18. Collared doves also, two weeks ago, I think they nest all year round! anyway they were collateral.
  19. Diffrent'strokes really, I mostly do one off fells, and domestic tree surgery so a larger tractor would be impractical, in and out in a day and all that, It can even travel in the back of a transit. It"s no forestry machine that"s for sure.
  20. Cheers, thumb could be worse, at least the bone wasn't broken.
  21. As I am off work with a split thumb, I thought I would share a pic of my latest toy, Kubota b2410 with loader (my missus at the wheel) I bought it primarily for loading large rings but it runs the topper for the fields and a multitude of other things. I was after a mini loader but the flexibility of this won me over. fits easy in a trailer, quick across the ground, easier on the grass than tracks, the list goes on. Cannot wait to use it in anger!
  22. Cheers, as usual all my fault:blushing:
