    Hi John, Yes I do, living out here I use the high speed rail to go to Bordeaux and Paris and they are brilliant,(ooooh how cosmopolitan!) cutting journey times in half compared to cars, a high speed link between the major cities in England is ime essential to growth. Of course i love the countryside and if it was my land I might feel differently, But some sacrifices have to be made and omelettes and eggs spring to mind. Mick
