  1. So can I mod the exhaust on the 201 or not? C'mon this is why we pay you the big bucks:001_smile:
  2. No eye deer I'm afraid.
  3. Well done Johnny, I will have a crack at that tomorrow.
  4. I'm tempting fate I guess, I think as at home, stay off the motor ways, if in doubt take the other vehicle with the chipper and saws on.
  5. Very true, except the black chiropodist bit, and in answer to Pete, does it bother? Only if I get caught.
  6. All right,I'll give you that one, very good:001_smile:
  7. :001_smile:Business is business.
  8. Yes Felix, he is and why not?
  9. Yeah I see that on another thread, it's not a question of power, anyway you loves yours, so enjoy, I would never have another. Turning circle=like a supertanker Reliability=no words needed Ability to hold oil in axels, gearboxes etc=incontinent General finish=so bad it's funny (do doors ever shut without a fight?) Good off road and a good tower, but knocked into a cocked hat by anything Japanese. Yours looks good mind.
  10. Mine had helper springs as well. But you know, different strokes and all that.
  11. The same as the summer, with a coat on.
  12. I don't know why but my IPad corrects my spelling and even grammar and apostrophes etc, it's very clever.
  13. Know what you mean, I .have done a silver birch and a hedge in one house in a cul de sac, end up doing another 2 or 3 jobs for the Neighbours, end up driving away with a very tidy sum for a days work. Often with the big "glamour" jobs you go cheap just to get it and relieve the boredom of back garden drudgery. And also so you can put pics up on Arbtlalk.
  14. Put 1.5 tones in that and you'll know it! I had one and collected 1.3 tonne of soil, 20 mph all the way home. Good towers. Very poor load carriers.
  15. In fairness to Lop&top I suspect he was joking and when it comes to thoughtless posts " let he who is without sin etc"
  16. I know what your saying Rupert, I'm just saying lets have a bit of realism.
  17. Has anyone ever been fined 55k for disturbing a blue tits nest?
  18. Builders can often do that stuff as well. (And cheaper) I mean its only little walls and slabbing.
  19. For me, it depends on the bird, doves, pigeons etc that's just collateral, something rarer takes some deliberating. Little jobs like finches and tits, difficult to spot, bad luck for them. If you have a crew with machinery turn up at a job and drive away 'cos there's a doves nest in there....good luck explaining that to the bank!
  20. Price was there or thereabouts. As for the bloke with the grab lorry, have you seen how much those things are to run? Bit more than a mower and a Berlingo.
  21. I guess really you answered your own question. Do some people try and get away with blinding you with BS, yeah 'course, same in every trade.
  22. If I remember rightly he only wanted them put on the ground.
  23. Glad it worked out for you,
  24. My advice to the OP is get a proper ie not less than 25hp twin roller machine, you won't regret it.
