  13. My personal accident insurance covers me at work, when I subbie for other people, when im not at work and even on holidays. Can you afford a bad injury stopping you from working? I see it as a necessary cost to protect my future and familys future
  14. sorry to hear of your problems TY. i kind of know that feeling but for me its house issues drain problems *fortunatey not the main sewer outlet* electrical problem's water leak and a new driveway to bulid and all this 6 weeks after getting married. but one factor i havent got is children. wishing you all the best and my only advice is set a goal get your head down and blinkers on. and go at it all guns blazing. * hope that makes sense.
  15. thing is diff lock points are deducted for injury's that result in bleeding so they must need to inspect hands afterwards
  16. ive got a stihl 201 never had a problem and has always got the job done. I admit ive never had much chance to use a 200 so cant compare.
  17. which issue will it be in??
  18. 2nd vote for w j green
  19. give steve a pm and hell be on it like sonic
  20. i dont know of a formula or rule of thumb it vcomes with more experience i find that i used to cut them too close and had a few go earlier than anticapaited but now i have got more experience i am better. a tape sling is a good addition to your climbing kit if you want it solely for a foot sling you could get a small one and double it over through a piece of garden hose then attach that to another sling or something so that when u stand on it it doesnt hurt your foot as quickly. hope that last bit made sense
  21. got a small dmm one and had is 14 months and lookng to replace on next loler *october with a dmm large. i find it works well.
  22. If ur around Suffolk Norfolk way give me a pm. The 10week course will get ur quals very quickly. But no experience. Better get experience then get the quals. It is good to have a plan but don't be afraid to change it if something isn't going write.
  23. Keep hold of the money for as long as you can as it will disappear quickly. And to add my vote of being a subbie for a few companys and bulid a contact list. And see what set up works and what kind if work you want. Go to the trade shows and speak to the dealers and manufacturers. And see the kit in real life with the people you work for And go from there
