Exact same thing here, handle has broke (and been replaced by threaded road) a few times. It's only m8, which is a bit thin in my opinion. And the cast alloy part has broke too!!!

Just wondering, where/how did they break? I had a flowfit one break too. As you say don't think they're very well made

The rotatech chains seem ok but one set I ordered took about 3 weeks to come! Customer service seems a bit poor/slow

Bare in mind aswell, the greenmech uses a B&S Vanguard, which is a commercial grade engine, different kettle of fish. Like comparing a professional Stihl/Husqvarna chainsaw with a domestic saw from the same brand.

Yes I bought some stuff in lidl years ago that was "wood flour" based, that was really good but have never seen it since. I wonder if you could make your own using a fine sawdust?

Tried to buy a couple more big tubs of beaded hand cleaner on amazon (good price), but the order got refunded the next day. So I emailed to ask why, and the response was : "Hello, unfortunately the government have now banned microbeads, so the manufacturers are no longer able to produce this product, we have now deactivated the listing Sorry for any inconvenience caused Regards" First I'd heard of this?

Kubota single cylinder diesel gave up the ghost on the log splitter, and had to get the machine recovered onto a trailer and back to base. The fuel pump didn't seem to be pumping with much pressure so we changed that for a recon pump and injector, but still no start so my mate got hold of a compression tester to fit and that came back at 200-odd psi, which is no use. So had to get the engine out and strip it, hopefully get a local company to re-bore it

Cheers, yes the wee one would be about 9cube, which is okay for an average house, with more than one source of heating. I liked the colour of the box profile sheeting, they had it on offer and in stock as it was a cancelled order. It's called 'slate blue' which sounded a bit garish, but came out good in the end

No this was an old van which had a tacho, therefore calibrated, the ticket came through with 60mph which is what the speedo was showing

It's a "9" road so of course it's north of the border! With the old "gatso" cameras on the A9 you would be fine going past in a van if you stuck to the car speed limits, as it couldn't tell it was a van. Then one night about 2am I got flashed by the one near Balir Atholl, I was doing 60mph on the nose as normal, but was overtaking an artic, and towing a box trailer, which obviously upset it, and I got my ticket in the post! hmmph! The only problem now with the average speed cameras and the HGV 50mph "trial", if you do about 50mph in a van, you will get a lorry driving 2ft off your back bumper, as his tacho says you are only doing 47mph Given the choice, I now avoid the road, 100 miles of average speed cameras (at mainly 50mph) is too much like hard work!!

Posted this before on an old thread, big log shed. If I remember right, each bay holds about 20 cubic metres. Photo is from last year, it's now half full of logs, with more sat waiting to be split and put away

Back in ye olden days forums didn't have picture hosting. I even remember a time before photobucket (and youtube) where about the only option was to pay for your own server!

Local sawmill does 2nd grade boards for a keen price for cash, ideal for cladding sheds etc. Even if you just did the windward side it would be a start

Debris netting would be better than nothing, but ideally put some sides on the shed. 6" boards, 1" gap Post up a picture
