  1. Looking around to see if a machine is available which sucks up leaves can also remove and chop up fresh horse poo so I can use to make compost for use in plastic pots. Some portable ones have wind speeds of 300KLMS so could these also be used to remove snow from drives?
  2. ABUS Container Locks. Use "Smart" grease on various areas so Police can trace thieves.
  3. I have found several different 2 Stroke fuels here that are "Green" and much less to purchase instead of the Swedish version in Orange cans. Testing them in the snow at -16C.
  4. Pictures upside down. Help.
  5. Views from the house.
  6. We have now finished the move to a new life in the mountains of Telemark Norge. More pictures and info to follow. The moose hunting season has started and been invited along.
  7. Udder Salve alternative Wood Tar.
  8. Great kindling machine with waste brash.
  9. Beware of the Eastern Browns
  10. Rain rain rain rain gales
  11. Demountable Mowi would be ideal from experience.
  12. Too much of this going on. Time the Police started pulling up vans without signs and checking the contents.
  13. See previous post I wrote. Does one of these small machines have a bagging attachment to enable use/sale of waste product. Thanks.
  14. The public are morons, rude, abusive......... We used orange rope as tape useless. Makes working on some sites dangerous to a team as having to watch fools instead of trees/chainsaw. Seen some German HSE signs which warn of death so continue into zone.
  15. Bagging attachment?
  16. Ford still make a Transit 4x4 with tipping back in Turkey! However the unladen weight is high so payload low.
  17. We hired a small chipping machine a long long time ago to use in a large garden in Buxton with no decent access. Honda petrol engine but cannot remember the machine brand but it had a bagging attachment we used with hessian sacks and then able to take to tree planting sites to mulch with. Is this available on the modern versions of wee chippers?
  18. Is it still correct one can fell up to five cubic metres in a calender quarter in the following sizes even when the site has a TPO without needing a FC felling licence? Diameters at 1.3M from ground levels:- 8cm Individual Stems 10cm Thinnings 15cm Coppice Purpose is to improve woodland on a clean Brownfield Site. Thanks
  19. 30 Years experience of doing firewood is most people that purchase are leisure operators (not main source of heating) and purchase a single cm3 so how about having a seasoned stack in a barn and hire an unbraked single axle trailer which takes a cube? Then no distance selling regulations and no tacho with business use.
  20. Most bulk bags are classed as single use (Lifting Regulations) Volume is difficult as could be loose load / stacked load. 14 days to return is ridiculous! One would have to count all the pieces.
  21. All in the mind and used no alternative crutches. First week is most difficult. Hate the smell of the smoke now and pleased it was banned in public houses and work places. Saved a huge amount of funds. Good Luck to all.
  22. Terrible. There are too often large herds of goats in some areas eating down the forests. It seems in so called 3rd world countries locals have big families and so often then struggle to grow enough to feed themselves. In Australia camels, wild horses, goats and pigs are doing the same damage and making the land into packed concrete so when it rains the water vanishes instead of sinking into the ground.
  23. Nice but expensive.
