  1. Then it begs the question why do they still exist?! Naive college leavers...?!
  2. You'd better shout it from the rooftops so you make sure those who still give a crap hear. Because they will be far, far away by the time this comes out, or will have carked it waiting...
  3. Just had a quick look, looks a tidy piece of kit. Shame it had to go, what did yo upgrade/change to if anything? If you happen to find any pictures of it in action that'd be great, thanks!
  4. Quality! If you had a dollar for every "but it's..." and "you see if it was like this..." you'd have taken the rest of the day off! That your ported 395 Reg?
  5. Pictures Chris? Sounds like a nice setup!
  6. Well, after all's said and done, at least they've released a new saw! When will Husqvarna get their act together?
  7. Seriously missed opportunity! Hope there's a good excuse for it!
  8. Alright Rob, Are the 15" .325 bars for use with lopro chain?
  9. If i quoted all the above i'd not be popular! That's INCREDIBLE value IMO GardenKit! £72 for all that?!
  10. Interesting points from all. I've ordered it with a 15" bar, i'll see how it holds up. Unfortunately Sugihara don't do a .325 15" or 13" bar as far as i'm aware. Great feedback from you all!
  11. Apologies TCD... i've caved in and decided to order a 550XPG! Obviously a light saw but i'm as always disappointed with standard Husky bars, i've got a unit only price from FRJ and it leaves me with about £45 to get a 15" bar and chain, not fussed if it's more, i'm averaging on standard retail prices of the saw with a 15" bar & chain. So, Oregon ProLite, any good? I reckon the PowerMatch will be too heavy... Cheers!
  12. Husqvarna bars blow up/chip/tear themselves to pieces... FULL STOP! Shocking they're even supplied with a pro saw!
  13. Exceptionally tempting! But frankly it's too bloody good for it's own good. Fitting a high top filter to it soon, possibly this weekend, more air flow, perhaps a higher max revs! As soon as Dom had a go with it he wanted EVERYTHING ported! What a difference it makes! Will probably meet you on a job some point soon, the saw will be by my side now i know your affections for it!
  14. Ha - that was mine. Did you smash it through some of that Ash Dom felled? Relentless isn't it?! Chris
  15. Will keep an eye out and let the people i sub to know also. Sorry to hear you got done over. Where abouts in Sheffield was it/are you?
  16. Bloody 'ell! All that and about £425 to get one in the UK. Good all day saw then? You running 3/8th on a 16" bar?
  17. And the Dol if/when ported? Is there much room for port work?
  18. TCD - i know you imported your Dolly, before that where did you buy your Echo 510 from? Too many options - when's the video coming about of that Dolly? Cheers!
  19. Not as heavy either Jon! Or as thirsty! Horses for courses/lasagne !
  20. I'd put my Spuderized 372XP into the equation, on the 18" bar it screams! Spud - Jonsered up for sale or a project?
  21. This post is no slight on your service Justin, just a last ditch attempt at getting one of these. As always your (extra) efforts are appreciated, thanks for making that call. Shame the Scandinavians aren't so flexible with distribution! Chris
  22. Sure thing Steve, always ready to wax lyrical about how good the saw is!
  23. I see why with that reasoning, but it's not like they don't sell XPG 372's, or any new models...surely there'll be an overlap in parts? It's less for the cold, more for cold wet days with constantly cold hands. No matter, i guess i'll have to stump for the standard, just a bit disappointed.
  24. Why would Husqvarna not offer some models in the UK? I'm after a 395XPG, i don't see why this saw isn't available here. Any ideas where i could get one other than import a US saw? Cheers
