  1. What sort of famous person?
  2. I can see this being you best thread yet. Very interesting
  3. Different take on that [ame] [/ame]
  4. £50 is maybe a little thin. What about renting a little chipper and doing it yourself? More experience, maybe less cost
  5. Yet they still let him handle animals/work in a non desk roll? Its bloody mad.
  6. Behave woman! References are a good one, make sure that NPTCs are qualifications, not prizes (someone once asked me that )
  7. Someone on here once said "Your bush, my pleasure".
  8. Haha, the towel is an old one. Its only a mile or so from the road so I try to jump in there or the pool above when I go past
  9. 346 pulls a 15" well enough, but it flies with a 13". I wouldn't use a top of the range saw like the 346 etc. for "dirty" work (MDF, pallets etc.) Better with a B&Q bargain job for £50 and keeping the 346 decent. Get trousers, boots, work gloves, helmet/visor/ear defenders to go with it, even if you are only doing a little bit.
  10. Went to a nice pool on the was back from quoting today. River Dane below Panniers Pool. 11 degrees water temp, so pretty warm
  11. Where did you get the cargo netting from above the seats?
  12. Sounds grand. More than happy to lend a hand too. Anything for the lads/lasses.
  13. Before I got into trees I worked as an assistant land agent, and dealt with properties of this size a fair bit. One bloke was on the books (to buy) with a list of things that his place must have. One of them was at least 200 estate cottages. Apparently his reason was "So I can kick out someone every time we loose the cricket" Some people, you almost have to laugh.
  14. Trees and things (ANYTHING) to kill = happy scandiwegians.
  15. Just having a quick nose through your website and came across the above, can you explain that a bit? I've always been taught that pollarding when done properly is a perfectly good thing to do
  16. “They’ve not been coppiced, there’s nothing left but stumps" Just about sums it up. People who think they know, and don't. Write a letter to the paper, as Andy say. Then file it under "Why the public as useless" and start again.
  17. Ah ok If it isn't a royal I'd put money on a Dane buying it.
