  1. Nail on the head. As an aside, thanks for the link on moths yesterday, very interesting when I had finished reading through it
  2. Not bad. A prof stalker in yorkshire I know shoots 158grn 6.5 Privi exclusively and kills a lot of deer with them. I would recommend homeloading though, far better rounds tailored to your rifle in pretty much every weight you can think of and half the price!
  3. The stickers give it away. Faaake.
  4. Soil test would be the next step I think Lorry. I only really know of salt, copper and over fertilizer as ways to kill them. I suppose if you managed to get timberex, roundup or something through the cambium that would do. I'll get some pictures up if there is anything of interest. Digging is a good one Rob, cheers
  5. Bit of an odd one. How would you tell if a tree was purposely poisoned? Friend of mine thinks that his next door neighbor has tried to kill his tree on purpose, and has asked for my opinion. Obviously deficiencies you will get with any unhealthy tree will be there, but is there anything specific to poison? I'm going to have a look tomorrow evening, so we shall see, but any other info would help. atb, Sam
  6. Everyone should know a man in that business.
  7. 80 a day minimum. More like 100 when you know what your doing. Ish.
  8. Reckon I can get that done before bed. Cheers memsahib
  9. Now. To play the fool. What are they? What do they do? Why can't I stamp on them? Sorry to be a pain. Just have never been taught/had it explained to me, and haven't come across any. Sam
  10. I propose an arbtalk sit in. With timbersports on their drive.
  11. When you search "arbtalk" in your history it comes up with 2526 visits...
  12. Swear I saw that on ebay a while ago. Sorry, just saw Joy's post, pretty sure it was on.
  13. Only just seen this thread. Hilarious! Keep them coming till you run out!
  14. Nothing really, the closest was lending a bloke in the petrol queue £2 so he could afford his petrol.
  15. Dunno, but he needs a new file
  16. And that, ladies and gentlemen, is Yorkshire.
  17. Thanks It got to about 7 inches that day. Its near Ullapool in the NW Highlands, I went swimming that day too
  18. Just a few shots from about, thought I would jump on the bandwagon and have a little thread Sam
  19. Here's the pictures mate. Something along those lines with a hole in the handle to attach a cord, other than that, do whatever you think works. Nice and simple decoration/style wise though please Cheers, Sam
  20. Never made a mistake that killed anything. Rarely make a mistake twice. Doubt he has access to firearms, but a baton in the hands of a guy like thats is more than scary enough
