  1. Oh lets not get into empire bashing, we are hopefully a little more grown up. Thats my last comment on this one Didn't see this comment before, but it is bob on.
  2. Some are, for sure. I wasn't bothered to go into a huge amount of detail, but it is a very complicated affair. Too clever for a lumberjack like me
  3. In the 80's "the allies" fought with a group of people called the Mujahedeen in the afghan civil war to boot the Soviets out. The same people are now fighting us. So what are they? Freedom is always worth fighting for, but one must never forget morality in war. I am not a pacifist, yet, but violence should be used carefully for political and moral objectives.
  4. You live in a country not a county because of terrorists old boy. The only way a small force can take on a large force and have a chance.
  5. Website looks good Justin, are they reasonable money?
  6. Anyone know a good online tee printer? Looking for someone cheaper than spreadshirt etc. But ideally with a build-your-own-thingy on the website
  7. It makes perfect sense. You have 26 years more wear and tear on your joints muscles etc. if nothing else.
  8. Cool I'm based in Sandbach, over that a fair a fair bit, more small scale forestry than arb though. Very true Jonathan, I don't think hand cutting is a job for the weaker end of the spectrum, male or female.
  9. Lucky man. I have seen them wild on two occasions. Once night fishing, caught for a few seconds in the beam of a head torch. And secondly on Ullswater at dusk, a pair playing in the last of the sunlight, oh for a camera. In my canoe I got about 30 foot from them, before they disappeared into their murky depths. Magical things
  10. Thats ace
  11. Is it ok if I ring you in the morning mate? May be of use to you
  12. Did you drive past Reaseheath this morning?
  13. Bullman hasn't got a chance.
  14. One in my little stein pouch. One in my big first aid kit in the van. Probably not the best set up!
  15. I respect anyone who works up through the ranks to a position they are happy with. Male, female or cross dresser.
  16. That thing every climber I have ever worked with does
  17. If I had the cash spare/size of team to justify I would. But I don't. Would be interested in a demo/talk/seminar though.
  18. To me H&S, customer service, knowledge all combines as your standard of work
  19. What a load of trot. It should be about the standard of work, nothing else.
  20. I'd buy the 64ft Bermuda cutter my grandfather built in the 60's. Have it done up exactly as it was and just go martini. Spend the rest on various shooting estates, boats, whisky, women, cars etc.
  21. Seen this?
  22. Smooth. Not really into it, but I fancy something of that "look" not that model in particular, but it does look smart £10?
  23. Jesus wept. I'll keep my eyes open, near Crewe. Sorry
