  1. Did you get it all wrapped today Rob? Was a good day, makes a nice change from the woods! Sam
  2. He was a soldier, he chose to be one (all credit too him) and getting shot is a career hazard. Awful as it sounds, and awful as the incident is, thats the fact.
  3. Yes. And no. How do you know? Music moves mountains for some people. Very much so, a hero, as they all are.
  4. Just back now, went for the full three days, spent too much money, Hunter Disco was excellent! Was it you in the blue polo shirt last night Justin? Sam
  5. Oh lets not get into empire bashing, we are hopefully a little more grown up. Thats my last comment on this one Didn't see this comment before, but it is bob on.
  6. Some are, for sure. I wasn't bothered to go into a huge amount of detail, but it is a very complicated affair. Too clever for a lumberjack like me
  7. In the 80's "the allies" fought with a group of people called the Mujahedeen in the afghan civil war to boot the Soviets out. The same people are now fighting us. So what are they? Freedom is always worth fighting for, but one must never forget morality in war. I am not a pacifist, yet, but violence should be used carefully for political and moral objectives.
  8. You live in a country not a county because of terrorists old boy. The only way a small force can take on a large force and have a chance.
  9. Website looks good Justin, are they reasonable money?
  10. Anyone know a good online tee printer? Looking for someone cheaper than spreadshirt etc. But ideally with a build-your-own-thingy on the website
  11. It makes perfect sense. You have 26 years more wear and tear on your joints muscles etc. if nothing else.
  12. Cool I'm based in Sandbach, over that a fair a fair bit, more small scale forestry than arb though. Very true Jonathan, I don't think hand cutting is a job for the weaker end of the spectrum, male or female.
  13. Lucky man. I have seen them wild on two occasions. Once night fishing, caught for a few seconds in the beam of a head torch. And secondly on Ullswater at dusk, a pair playing in the last of the sunlight, oh for a camera. In my canoe I got about 30 foot from them, before they disappeared into their murky depths. Magical things
  14. Is it ok if I ring you in the morning mate? May be of use to you
  15. Did you drive past Reaseheath this morning?
  16. One in my little stein pouch. One in my big first aid kit in the van. Probably not the best set up!
  17. I respect anyone who works up through the ranks to a position they are happy with. Male, female or cross dresser.
  18. That thing every climber I have ever worked with does
