  1. Surely its the designer of the 346XP
  2. Bored as usual on a sunday afternoon, bad weather and all. So as well as making a pie (god help us all) I was thinking if I have any inspirational people, turns out I do, even if I thought I didn't. Yousuf Karsh Grey Owl Hugh Falkus Sam
  3. Good stuff. Old Theodor would be proud.
  4. Whats your basis for that? As you can see by the thread, you seem to be in the minority. As I own the saw I'm interested, not trying to get at you.
  5. Thats me with my old mans Echo firewood saw. Happy times Chainsaw proof cords, of course
  6. Couple of edited jobbies And two that shouldn't be there
  7. What rot.
  8. 346. It is the finest in the 50cc range I'v used
  9. He is French...
  10.
  11. Gloucester old spots.
  12. Im up for it, prov of course. Have you got a postcode? or address for the golfclub?
  13. Final assembly of the year. Everyone hushhush as the headmaster talks about new world blahblahblah. At the back, someone's mobile rings. Shock horror. The head nearly has a coronary. To top the social awkwardness, the lad stands up. "Hello?" Pause "Be right there..." He throws the phone down, Rips off his shirt to reveal a full spider man costume and runs out while fitting the mask.
  14. He being a professional arb, who does hundreds of jobs like that would know, wouldn't he?@
  15. Sorry David. Peak district
  16. Just to stir the pot a bit The likes of Fed/Remmy/RWS/Lapua/Sake have lots of problems. I stopped using Federal for anything after three rounds from two batches had no powder in. One of the cost me a cracking staggie too
  17. If the men upstairs want to delete it that is fine, no offense taken or anything. However, surely if this is the sort of thing that we as an industry are being quizzed on, in fact being brought in as a consultant then we should talk about it in the same light as new rigging techniques, we surely need to discuss this to pool and further our knowledge, sure as hell hasn't been covered on any course I've heard of. All right, the ways we have talked about here could be used in the wrong way by a certain type of person. However, a quick search in google "how to poison a tree" will find the same info, maybe more. All the best. Sam
  18. Aye I remember you telling me actually. Didn't mean it in a "just a tree grower" sense Hows the rut going by the way?
  19. Wise words from Father Christmas Tree
  20. Nail on the head. As an aside, thanks for the link on moths yesterday, very interesting when I had finished reading through it
  21. Not bad. A prof stalker in yorkshire I know shoots 158grn 6.5 Privi exclusively and kills a lot of deer with them. I would recommend homeloading though, far better rounds tailored to your rifle in pretty much every weight you can think of and half the price!
  22. The stickers give it away. Faaake.
  23. Soil test would be the next step I think Lorry. I only really know of salt, copper and over fertilizer as ways to kill them. I suppose if you managed to get timberex, roundup or something through the cambium that would do. I'll get some pictures up if there is anything of interest. Digging is a good one Rob, cheers
  24. Bit of an odd one. How would you tell if a tree was purposely poisoned? Friend of mine thinks that his next door neighbor has tried to kill his tree on purpose, and has asked for my opinion. Obviously deficiencies you will get with any unhealthy tree will be there, but is there anything specific to poison? I'm going to have a look tomorrow evening, so we shall see, but any other info would help. atb, Sam
