  1. Its a good saw. Fair few softwood cutters like them but the new 346 is a more modern saw. I like my 346, but a 357 is a better all rounder I think, if there is such a thing.
  2. They like moaning more than spending money
  3. .22LR is good to 100m if you know what your doing. And no, I don't shoot that distance. .17s are a fashion/fad thing, they are too expensive for what they do in my case. A ton a night is standard from a Kubota with a three man team, keep changing your filters and you can get away without NV. Just me on foot/quad 50-75 depenndign on ground. Thats 10pm-1am or something like that. If I want more fun then set up in a little valley with .223/.22-250 varmint grenades and splat from afar. Can kill anything up to a 100 on the right day

  5. Me, Meindl is the best for big foots.
  6. But was a pretty dead show.
  7. Good man. If I could afford to come down and help I would, this sort of thing really gets to me. It will take tens/hundreds of years to get that back to how it was, but those to 'scrotes won't care when there drinking their buckfast and smoking. Dispatching injured beasts is not for the faint hearted, well done you can do it. I'm on the deer road traffic incident lists and have done a couple, its real harrowing stuff. It makes my blood boil that they get away with this, and I bet their kids are doing it in 10 years time - that attitude is hereditary Good on all the lads/lasses giving a hand.
  8. Chester Zoo buys them for lion food among other things, they buy in bulk and about £1-£2 a rabbit - I think.
  9. Unless they beat my butcher at £2.50 paunched I'm out. Nice idea though
  10. I need two pairs of chip proof Ray Ban's. And one pair of Front protection Levis Get to france.
  11. Burning softwoods here, they do just as well for me!
  12. Yeah, really comfy. Buy the extra sleeves or whatever they're called for easy packing, worth double what they cost.
  13. I actually did eat one, not in a pie though. It was rather good actually
  14. Hennesey Hammocks (google) are the best going, all in one hammock, tarp and rigging. Dead easy to rig up. I use one for canoeing, really top notch quality but a little cold in winter. Sam
  15. I'm so sorry for you, I have a friend who fell ill with the same disease about two years ago, poor lad has never been the same again. I hope you pull round and beat it in the long run mate.
  16. Classic Bolam banter
  17. I can tell you it isn't her, she's going out with a mate of mine
  18. I will put money on it being someone like this... Google Image Result for http://cache.jalopnik.com/cars/tailpipe_man.jpg Now where is that chunder smiley...
  19. What you think does not represent what everyone round here does! You can shift seasoned hardwoods at £125 a cube all day long (Cheshire). I had someone ring me up from Lancaster yesterday wanting mixed softwoods at up to £100 a ton, I sent them to the directory on here. What do you do for a living? I'm not about to pick you apart or anything, just nosey
  20. It's not arb waste, its arb arisings Keep getting as much free wood as you can because it won't last. Part of the problem is the GP see woodland as just something, like concrete, they do not see it as a crop, or in fact something that is put there by people. Sam
