    Tachometer

I got the 20K Tiny-Tach: Diesel Tachometers from ITCO cant go wrong its well made & comes in a rubber case/sleeve, also has wires if you want to use them but I just place in next to a saw and it works great with no wires connected but sure they will come in handy one day:thumbup:
  4. Spud, did you ever play around with Bantam 175's in your younger days? you could port them and a good learning curve. Kids these days dont know their born:lol:
  5. you got better eyes than I have Spud, phone screen is ok but need a big magnifying glass
  6. no deterrent = take it & see most of the time these bastards get away with it, I know we all think afterwards why didnt we do this or that, I just hope you get it back in one piece and the thieves end up in many pieces. Good luck & sorry to hear this, as if things are not hard enough
  7. young and nosey, good shot
  8. I read this as Killing machine :-) must be the late saturday night
  9. yer I think your right Miker, great saws:thumbup1:
  10. hiax protector pros, very pleased with mine so no need to look for a better one if there is one. (or should I say two:001_tt2:) Try a pair if you can, they feel great from the first day
  11. Thanks Charlieh ;-) for the others that havent tried it...... The pro's:- after having so much **** petrol from forecourts, Aspen 2T in my saws has been great, it makes a big difference to running so I'm happy with that, just dont go spilling it at the price it is. Obtaining it within 40 miles is another thing despite efforts to have it stocked local, they think it just wont sell and be left on shelves which is a very valid point at the price. All I want to know is how much are you paying for Aspen 2T and 4 ???????? including vat Thanks
  12. My last 5L can of Aspen 2T was £16 including the vat (it probably cost me that to go and collect it from a stockiest in Glos) I want 5L of Aspen 4 and arranged for someone to collect this for me from a stockiest in Dorset, I was quoted £18:confused1: Is this the right price as I would expect it either to have been cheaper that 2T or at least the same, but not more. So could you please tell me what your paying per single 5L.
  13. Maybe worth a look here? Husqvarna 254G Exhaust Husqvarna 254xp spares - Pigeon Watch Forums
  14. Translucent Wood Protection - Supercoat Fiddes Oils
  15. your a good man, nice to see a loyal Husky man. From memory I'm not sure if you can split/open the exhaust, maybe worth brazing whatever is loose if you cant find another but sure to be one out there somewhere. Good luck ;-)
  16. nothing wrong with Willans, I have two and great harnesses but there again I am not 25 & fashion concious and will be sticking with them, good old trusty last for years Willans :-)
  17. We should pay less or better still no duty on fuels like Aspen, but come on be realistic...... This is Britain where everything is taxed and we are all robbed and just put up with it because we always have been. Good luck I hope your 100% successful with your mission.
  18. Just started using aspen 2T, saw starts very easy and runs great after some re-tuning. No turning back but wish it was cheaper AND easy to pick up. Wales has just TWO stockests so nearest to me is over the seven bridge and a 80 mile round trip. Come on Axel get this sorted out soon please!!
  19. Had my Husky orange combi can 20 years, still going strong. I think the aspen one has a weak point ie the handle, that wont last a day in the woods. The first aid kit looks like it will fill up with water and wood chips so the contents even though packed will be dirty on the outside before you open them. Why would you want to take the carrying device apart (oil container and fuel) off just to pour fuel? All I do it pick up my combi can and pour, same as I done for years. One of the best buys but lost the first one off the van :-(
  20. I had a 1960's Seagull outboard which ran on 16:1 mix, them things never wore out or seized but it left an oil slick on the water!! Husky oil I used in my saws for years no probs, seen some Stihl at a good price and runs exactly the same both at 50:1 Just changed to Aspen 2T GREAT!!!!!!!!! very clean & smells good too
  21. great saws, what happened??
  22. Hi Yogi

dont know if your still looking but this looks like a willans to me?

Tree Climbing Harness | eBay UK

good price so far but check with seller to make sure, the picture isnt that good.

    all the best

  23. thats all very well and you may get your kit back. but there will probably be a legal loop hole that lets them off with no charge the old saying "the law is an ass"
  24. Did you vote on the poll:confused1: I seen some good ones with longer loops and whistle clips, they were on axmen (yes I do watch it & wonder the same as you:001_rolleyes:) never seen the bracers over here but they looked good ones I use the husky ones myself but could do the them lasting longer like 10 years:001_tt2: What do you use & why or why not:thumbup1:
