annoyingly if you go above a 7.5 tonner like my 11 you need a class 1 which was a pain in the arse to get mine is same size as 7.5 only i can brim it and you would't get away with a big crane like mine on a 7.5 id take offers around 14 for it full mot also got two big 29" air horns now so you can toot toot at the haters

    7.5 ton iveco

I'm thinking of parting with my 11 tonner and you can get a 3 tonner in the back
  6. They have sherill signs in there depot they look pretty old though
  7. On connie jobs access is always the killer and depends on the set up due to the large volume of waste to be removed. I know from my own set up if that was road side and it was a removal it would be a days work 1 lorry loads of waste 2 or 3 blokes so say £950-1200 if it was in a back garden through a narrow exit then the price would rise massively. Its also worth considering that less off is not always less money, its often quicker and cheaper to remove something than to try ans spend time making a big connie look pretty. January is certainly my quite month and possibly for others so would be now you would get the most keen prices, I only speaking from my experience. http://www.jrforestry.co.uk/Conifer_Removal.htm
  8. to be fair though we have completely different roads and we have a lot of twisty back roads used as commuter roads and in canada its wide strait roads
  9. Piers morgan, the originator of Fake news, have people forgot how his news paper when he was editor faked the photos of troops abusing Iraqis putting our troops at risk from the other side. Seems the world forgave him for this. Every time I see him i think about this even though it was 14 odd years ago What a toss pot http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/3716151.stm
  10. Just got back from canada were the roads were always ice and compacted snow, no gritting due to the environment just a stone covering in some places. Everyone just drives accordingly and it seems to work. I never saw any accidents. I think in the UK we just rush around and then blame the council for the weather
  11. If its a big company I always pre-lube
  12. Food must be short if the most tasty thing is saw
  13. I find with commercial stuff, diggers and vans they don't need to put the sell on as they sell them selves almost. I remember when I was digger shopping, whilst I was at the sales desk asking daft questions the bloke on the other desk got a 10 minuet phone call saying I'll have 10 more of those machines, they don't need the sell as people want them. See on stay at home mum face book sites people moaning about tree surgeons not ringing them back about there apple tree trim, I guess I would't put much time in on the sell for it where as a call about a big take down or clearance i'd be strait over Vaseline in hand.
  14. I may be wrong but do the kubota cut all other services when tracking making them rubbish for arb work, happy to be corrected
  15. There working next to our yard at the moment, not a lot going on at the moment, perhaps a lot of subbies have put them on pause
  16. Carriage of own goods within 100kms with pickup and trailer from base is fine soon as start to finish is outside of this you need a taco it is unlikely you will need to go further than a 100kms to deliver logs its 100ks as the crow flies I got caught within the 100ks but as I was honest and told them my final destination i still got done for it advice is draw a 100k circle on google so you know your limit if your going out of that circle have a water tight excuse eg my final destination is within the 100k but I took a wrong turn, lie lie lie, don't tell the truth for one second if you know your in the wrong avoid services where you might get trapped by vosa, usually they hide on the lorry car park exit if you get the follow me lights from a vosa van then try and hatch a escape plan because you will get shafted, vosa are not there to educate advise, and give you a warning, they will fine you to the highest extent they can
  17. Tacos is over 100kms from base if own goods i have a court appearance to prove this taco will cost you 1,200£ to fit to a pick up so you would need to get caught 4 times before its paid for it self
  18. Get a dmax tipper
  19. Personally I would't use a landrover I could't rely on it to do a 10 meter pull without it breaking down,
  20. Everyone loves to jump on someone elses calamity Personally i always pull with a transit backwards. you can see what your doing and the drive wheels don't lift
  21. Not a massive amount of new work coming in here, but I would say its been quite for while, mostly as theres a wash of new startups who are probably more proactive in going out quoting, commercials still rolling in. Traditionally were dead in jan so I've lined up some felling work and a snowboading holiday
  22. What is it, I use to get psoriasis and it comes and goes from time to time, usually stress related
  23. Easy mistake in connies i did the same thing felled a connie hedge top out with my line in, racing time as the sun went down, I got away with a crumpled shoulder, if I'd of landed different it could have been different
  24. Pretty standard to have cis deductions I got my knickers in a twist about it the first time it happened. just ask the tax man to become gross registered then there's no dramas, you can also claim it back when you do your Paye submissions
  25. Kwr would go there for a week best chipper around
