  1. 200 or so in a builders bag and 360 in an ibc, same sort of size logs.
  2. Good chippers, plenty of bits avaliable, service bits cheap. simple design. opening to rollers square so more snedding, radiators very expensive if they go.... Mines been a belter. Seems the new flywheel bearings made nowadays are made out of cheers though... I daren't change mine lol

  4. Exactly. Its the time to process. Store and cost that makes the logs the price they are.... basically the logs are loaded on back of truck and take back to yard. So to think theyre worth 100plus is dreaming. 40-50 quid max... tryj g to get out of splittjng them and thinking of cashing in big bucks lol.......
  5. Just dropped mine off this morning for a good check over! Pressure test. Vac test etc and a good look over. Too much of an expensive saw for anythjng to go wrong with it. Bough mine 2nd hand and want to make sure its ok. Plus its been sat not doing much for last few months lol numb bugger

  7. approx 28" dia pollarded at 45-50ft with 15-20ft re growth... 3 of them are straight ish, one of them has more of a lean... seen an old thread about my tirfur, and it says it had swl 30ctw, its an 11mm cable (Just needs replacing) Cheers worst one has approx 70-80 degree lean opposite to fell.... not really bad but still a lean

  9. Got a job comming up with 4 leaning willows to fell. These have leans (slight) in the opposite direction of felling. Just wondering if any of the 12V winches are any good? How do they attatch etc? Cheers Chris

  19. Its just instead od a tracked chipper thats all, usually use a 4wd 400cc one at work but wondered it a slightly smaller one would suffice....
