  3. You've got to realise when you get weight on the vehicle like a 3.5t tipper and towing... then fuel economy goes really down... 18-20mpg sometimes...

    hi all, i bought a saw a while back, (stihl) it came with a 24" bar on it... is this old measurements before they went on to 25" 3/8s btw. also can you still get chains? get shop to make them up... just wondering wether to keep it or let it go with a saw... cheers

  8. the side panels are something daft like 135 plus vat each.... they dont come with decals either . rip off merchants

  11. Its not the size of ones equipment:blushing:, its what one can do with it:thumbup: exactly. smallest saw i use is an 024. i love it for small clearance works etc. so light weight and good on fuel and robust. i like them so much i bought another one lol
  12. whats the use for? not read the whole thread... i dont see the point in these size of saws... i bought a rear handle 200 as people on here raved about them... used it once. put it in box for 8 months and sold it as didnt see the point in them...

  14. wasnt long since i changed it. 6-8 months or so... log splitter works ok. tipping trailer tips ok. linkage arms work ok and lift weight...
  15. my 990 wasnt doing too bad but somethings not just right with it lately... plenty oil in it. its annoyed me today!

  18. hi there all, firstly a firewood question... i process fire wood from my arb arisings... recently there has been some smaller stuff brought back to the yard 3" dia branch in lengths. for instance a log ( from branch lenght ) 3" dia and 9" long... would you expect that to dry in the normal 12mts seasoning period? i would have thought they would take longer... thus have shy' d away from putting them in this years wood so far... also ibc crates, do you market yours as 1 or 1.2 cubic metres? also what roughly do you think an ibc crate weighs when full of green hard and soft wood? cheers chris
  19. hi there, just wondering how people attach these to there helmets... vertex vent. do you use the strap or the suction cup one? pics would be great also as would be any other advice on using one etc (just got it out of box last night) cheers chris
