  1. The clutch doesnt slip etc just doesnt diss engage, is it possible bearings knackered and causing enough friction to pick up drive?
  2. Also where can i get a new clutch from? Is it main dealer only? Thanks
  3. Ever since i bought the 252, the wheel would spin at idle and increased revs even when clutch not turned on! How does this electronic clutch work? It shouldnt be engaged till switched on, when it gets a positive feed... The grinder has had a brand new kohler 27hp engine fitted by previous owner, the clutch doesnt look to be right on the woodruff key, also the bearing case looks knackered. I was hoping i could testthe clutch and if ok put new bearings in? If not it will have to be a new clutch. Tha comes to my next thing, how to get the bugger off? As i said it doesnt look right on the woodruff key which leads me to believe its going to be an arse to remove! Any help greatly appreciated Chris

  7. Hs80 where the blade comes out of the gearbox, there is a bolt that secures the blade assy to the body/engine unit. The blades assy moves side to side, tried new bolt in there and within 30 mins wa loose again. So blade assy move side to side again. Still works ok but dont like the movement. Was wondering if i can drill out to a m6 size bolt and try that?

  12. Its not neccessarily cheaper that im after, maybe worded wrong. But it will be 400 for multi tip wheel and i do like them Or it may be 250 for pockets and green teeth which is appealing, but i may be able to sharpen these myself or get sharpened local which would steal the deal for me
  13. I need to find a new system for the sc252, wondering which is cheaper? New multi tip wheel etc? Or if std wheel will accept pockets and green teeth? Dont know how to sharpen ginder teeth yet, use multi tip on other machine then when blunt throw in scrap

  24. Logs are trickling out still, very strange weather! A few have sold out. I had a call the other week off a guy wanting to buy some wood to split if it was seasoned to burn himself. Said he was getting a trailer load for 20.00 and thats all he wanted to pay. The other guy had stopped selling him logs and the guy on the phone to me said he had sold more than he expected..... sorry i said, you said they were for personal use! What an arsehole lying to me! Turns out he sells roadside for 3.50 a net, started this year and sold out mid december haha!
  25. Wow! What an expensive job! Front main roller, bearings knackered and pin knackered. The three other little rollers, bearings dissintegrated! Shafts buggered. Its cheaper and easier to replace the small rollers. Dear job! My question is, what grease do i put on the bearings? Id normally put multi purpose grease on but redwood said long life? Cheers
