  3. Guys, I have a little bit of spare cash that I intend to use setting me up a lowering and rigging kit. Can people give me their views on what they think I will need. Trees are medium scale I work on as I haven't got the experience yet to tackle the monsters you guys do and the fact there aren't many around where I work! Look forward to the replies:thumbup:
  4. Loving the "Tarpsurf Lunge" at 2.03!!
  5. Only just read the above few comments, Thank you for the kind words. We both had a brilliant day and the sun was shining!
  6. Used the chipper all day yesterday, still cant believe how great it is and how little fuel it uses! Got it on/off the trailer fine, one guy winching me guiding it. Busy making a harness type thingy to attach the winch line to so it balances perfectly and not tip forward/back so I can do it on my own then. Failing that I'll fill the bin up with bricks and start throwing it about!!
  7. Well done mate, good feeling afterwards isn't it! If I have any work where I need someone with relevant tickets could I call you? If so what hours do you work, ie when would you be free? Cheers

  8. Alex_M have you got a drawbar on the back of the trailer or is the chipper just pulled up close? If so do you tow it behind the trailer?
  9. Nice work Rupe!
  10. She looks like she could pull it out herself!!
  11. Also mixing up incline and decline presses, found after 2-3 wks of decline presses I was able to up my weight on the flats.
  12. Yeah the Ifor Williams 8footer's drawbar is just a tad short. Will just make do with the ramps and winch for now!
  13. Look at the Wee Chipper Club thread and go from there. I have the Greenmech CS100 and its the best thing I have ever bought, hired a TW before I bought the Greenmech and it was pants in comparison. Where in the country are you?
  14. Dont think Im going to have room otherwise thats what I was thinking as the best place for it. The draw bar is too short on the trailer.
  15. Thanks Bushy. I might have a go at it and see. What does everyone else think? Will 190KG on a platform at the rear of an 8ft trailer cause the tail to wag? Any thoughts would be appreciated.
  16. They're all petrified of it!!
  17. Steve is that logs price?
  18. Contact West Coast Energy mate they need climbers as they have won a big contract. You will need to have UA tickets though but its worth calling them.
  19. Awesome! |I'd pap myself at the top of there! Fair play.
  20. Crickey you certainly don't live up to your surname!!! I'll never forget when I was at school the bully/thug of the local town always used to try and mug the kids who walked home from school for their measly 30p dinner change! That was until the 70yr old caretaker came out and put him on his back!
  21. Happy Birthday Arbtalk!! Massive thanks to Steve and co for running such a useful and resourceful site
  22. Unbelievable!
  23. Looks like Zebedi off the Magic Roundabout!!
