  1. Happy Birthday!
  2. I know, they wouldn't hear anything over the sound of their own machine gun..
  3. BOOM, bet they weren't expecting that!!
  4. If its just silky work then normal climbing pumps I agree are fine. But if I'm up a tree with a chainsaw then I want as much protection as possible. I'm new to this game and as we know a lot of newbies look at this site for info and tricks of the trade that you pro's are doing. I think them reading that the pro's prefer to climb in trainers with a saw than boots isn't really what they should be reading! I agree that with protection they should be fine, but I'd still want boots. A protective tongue in a trainer isn't going to stop you hacking your foot off at your ankle!!
  5. Weasel?

  11. Awesome vid. That's what you call a dead tree! What caused it? Lightening or general rot?
  12. Hitch climber with a VT. Even as a novice climber i feel really confident using it. Once you get the VT right its brillinat.
  13. How you getting on with your top handle MIck?
  14. Is that helicopter rotors I see above it!!!
  15. They are great, don't think I've ever dealt with a more helpful bunch of people!
  16. You've all persuaded me to part with my hard earned wonga. Will be ordering a 200T tomorrow!
  17. I have a TT and its spot on, bought the missus a Garmin for Christmas and its just broken!!
  18. I agree with you buddy about creating relationships but when my local guys are trying to rip me off with used kit that is more than a grand more than newer stuff its kind of hard to create relationships!! Even if I need something urgent Jonsie will deliver it the following day - at a reduced price than anywhere else I've found!
  19. I passed my CS30/31 2 weeks ago and we were using wedges a lot as an aid in training. Not using them to ultimately fell the tree as a felling bar was the prefered method. I used a wedge on the assessment when I did a Pie cut, the examiner said he was glad I used it as it showed that people have the knowledge to use one to their advantage.

I agree with you, they ought to be given the chance to escape... so they can grow up into good eating specimens!!

    Birds!

Makes me chuckle we cant work on a tree with a pigeons nest in yet I can go and smash 200 of them when out decoying:thumbup1:

  25. Can I ask what are they like? I cant quite stretch to a MS200T so am looking at these. Have been using back hander Huskys and think they are great but I want to know what this would be like for my first topper?
