  2. Guys I've got a day off today and wanted to go and buy a new rope for my new zigzag but buxtons have sold out of what I wanted. Anyone know of any shops that will sell climbing ropes in the Shropshire, Chester, Birmingham area. Thanks
  3. Get rid of your stubs as well, will allow better work position for cut accuracy and less painful if you swing into one. 👍

  14. Someone phoned me last week and left me a message to call them regarding a climbing position after seeing me asking for work on here. Problem is they didn't leave their name or phone number for me to phone them back and as I was in a no signal area my phone hasn't got the number on it. Could they ring me please or pm me on here. Thanks.

    Strangeways

I saw it. That David guy said it all about our prison system, the fact that he would just attack someone so he could get back inside. People like him shouldnt be given all the attention that he had, in my opinion anyway.

    Shropshire.

I live just south of Shrewsbury. Have lived here for nearly all my life apart from 5 yrs in Buckinghamshire. I love it, its beautiful, a great mix of terrain and some of the best views I've seen. The pubs are pretty good to! Tom if anyone needs a tour of the place or any answers to other questions let me know!
  17. Thanks folks. Want to be able to get the chipper on my own, at present its a pita time consuming job for one person. Need to be able to guide it and winch at the same time really. Ad you getting rid of the CS??
  18. Can anyone recommend a winch for me to fit to my tipping trailer. I want it to be able to pull my cs100 up the ramps and mowers etc. Hasn't got to be able to pull lots of weight 2000lbs would be more than enough. Just wondering what others use. Ta
  19. I have to agree with K S. That crack looks like its been there for sometime judging by the rust. By giving it a good powerwash/sponge off you may have seen it even sooner. I would love to own one of those, if I did it would be cleaned off daily like my little CS100 is!
  20. Thoughts with his family and friends. Terrible news to hear, RIP.

    Cs100

Rob I have the 14hp version and am more than impressed with how it copes with everything. As AD says it can be a bit annoying if theres a small piece of wood stuck in the bottom when starting but if you make sure you shake it when you finish its fine. Mine starts on the pull start first time everytime, even after not being used for 5wks.
  22. Well done UKMINCH! I actually had to laugh at a guy that did it wearing only a thong, only to then see him being dragged out of the lake after the jump with hypothermia!! What time did you do? We went round as a 4 and took it steady really, I knew I was never in a million years win it so we had the odd breather here and there! 2hrs 20 I think!
  23. Bit of both really. A lot of the big entry fee went to charity but I also wanted to tick that box so to speak!!
