  1. Did anyone venture to Wolverhampton last weekend to do the Tough Guy Challenge? I did it with 3 other mates and have to say although it was cold we had a great time!
  2. Thanks fellas. I know the pics are awful but thats all he sent me when I asked for shots of the fungus and the general health of the tree! I saw it last Sat and the fruiting bodies look identical as those on your pic MonkeyD although there are more of them and they are all over deadwood in the tree with one or two on the main stem.
  3. Here we go the best I could get off him!
  4. Here are 2 bad photos. The one of the fungus was taken off the ground unfortunately. The customer wants all deadwood and the top taking out of it. He would like to make a treehouse out of the stem but I worry that the tree is in a poor state that there could be failure. Not what you want when my nephews will be in the treehouse. I can't get the pics to upload will try again later.
  5. Dont worry boys!! They look just like the ones in the shots posted on page one. I'll try and get shots soon.
  6. Guys does the above tend to form mainly on the stem? My brother in law has a Willow with lots of deadwood in it with brackets that look similar to the P. igniarius pics found on the fungi directory. They are tennis ball size and all over the deadwood, the tree does look like its in bad shape. Will try and get some pics soon.
  7. Get pics up! The bino's won't reach from here!
  8. Bob Wow. Nice shooters there! Glad to see they have pride of place to!!
  9. Hoping to get over there, anyone got good/bad views of the Jensens?
  10. Hey guys as it says I am looking for about 3 days a week climbing/grounding/driving. I have 30/31/38/39 12 months climbing exp, trailer license etc. All kit and saws pm me if interested, very hard working and reliable. Cheers
  11. Are the 3 way snaps removable from strop to strop??
  12. I need to get a new flipline, which one do you recommend? Also are the ISC rope grabs any good? Cheers
  13. Make that 794 and counting!!
  14. Just noticed that there are 778 people using this site at the moment, amazing. Well done to Steve for doing a grand job
  15. Ad you got any pic's of the mount? I use a ratchet around the base of the spout pulling in forward and down and also keep it tight on the hand winch I've put on the tipper.
  16. Just got mine approved from a rough sketch. Phone them and ask why are they being so anal? As long as the inspector has enough info to locate the tree/s then thats all they need.
  17. A pal of mine in Cambridge sells the same amount of mixed seasoned wood for £120
  18. From today in Stoke.
  19. Did my pals 200t as it was playing up 2 days ago, now sorted. Had done mine previously and had no bother with it!
  20. AT2's are brilliant. Got them fitted to the disco last week. Spent all day towing customers out of the snow ridden shooting ground car park I was working at today! They were cheaper to have fitted to some 16" black steel wheels rather than my 18" alloys!
  21. Hellfire! Think I'll be giving Lux a ring!
  22. Nice vid! I do hate wires, as MB says even when turned off!
  23. Thanks folks, I'll give them a call tomorrow and give them the details. One of the subbies I'm using has had chap 8 training, does anyone know amywhere in the West Mids area where I can do these new units?
  24. Thanks all for your responses. My plan was to cone off work area and put all necessary signage out both directions and have 2 good guys on the ground, one of which to be in charge of traffic. When you say paperwork I take it you mean RA and method statement etc? Thanks
