  3. I had some goretex gloves when i was "in", but they totally unsuitable for tree work. I normally use the yellow grip gloves but they starting to play havoc with my joints now its cold and wet. Sealskinz are the way forward but they wont last 2 mins on conifers etc. Was also wondering how you guys protect your lower arms when climbing?? i only ever wear a t -shirt as im naturally a warm person!! but somedays i look like i been mauled by a dog. I tried the nike and underarmour long sleeve vests but i end up being too hot. Any suggestions?? Dave

  9. My advice would be to push your feelers out for another job, and a subtle hint to ur boss that your looking for a better job. Why not start preparing now to go it alone?? The odd job on a saturday or day off would soon burst your earnings., or how about little firewood business? There is money to be had you just got to find it. Companies are never gonna pay big bucks but i believe a decent bloke deserves decent pay!! " pay peanuts u get monkeys"

  18. ive used it couple of times in Iraq on horrendous wounds, its fantastic stuff. it doesn't burn or hurt or anything like that. To remove is just a matter of flushing with water or saline. 21. Hi Spend a bit of time with your customer on quotes etc, i spent an hour with a guy yesterday just chewing the fat, I find the more they know about you etc the better chance you have of getting the job. Also be honest with them!! In the last 2 months every quote i have done has got me the job. this i believe is cos of that extra time i spent with the customer. But above all remain positive whatever happens and you will succeed!!! Good luck Dave
