  1. Not sure on the oak branch drop, more of a factor is the poor branch union structure and included bark, coupled with the recent rain and has it been windy/strong gusts.
  2. I will stick to my 1970 and 71, 2 door range rovers, does that make me a c**t as well
  3. Maybe i'm a tight scot living near aberdeen. But If you've got that sort of outlay coming up I would not be spending that sort of money on a truck, until the cheque for the works start coming in. Maybe it just me.
  4. Never bothered farmers in the past with gang rollers before they got superduper hydraulic folding ones.
  5. Tried to upload again, let me know if they are there , thanks
  6. You trying to double the value of the saw?☺️
  7. I use stihl hiflex but only buy them when heavily discounted. They are not the best for durability but do for me, conny hedge reductions is hard on them as is short stropping the chainsaw in the tree
  8. A new rope is much easier to splice than one that has been climbed on a lot is what Tommy is on about.
  9. I reckon that it is Phellinus igniarius (L.) Quél. - Willow Bracket. Can anyone confirm or deny this.
  10. Just horrible to chip always spitting bits back at you. Good practice for all the ashes to come

  13. Much the same just bigger and heavier
  14. Best part of a day on my own with engine crane and trolley jack. Did the clutch 18mths ago took engine out to do much easier as gravity helping you and easier lump to move around/balance. The gearbox/transfer box is bloody awkward to line up correctly with engine from underneath if you don't have the correct cradle
  15. Landrover's gearbox, reverse gear locking up, recon one ordered from ashcrofts.
  16. Speed sensor is built into the alternator, check belt tension
