Also handy to have saw tickets so you can cut your way to the harvester/forwarder after a storm -
looks to me that someone has replaced the original solenoid with an aftermarket one, as its cheaper than genuine, and that is now failing. The aftermarket looks to me to have a separate earth the black wire, the white or yellow one being the starter wire.
