  1. Haven't read a newspaper for years, just my recollections. Keep going with your dreams
  2. Mick is one of the cheeky girls still going out with the ex-MP lembit opik
  3. IIRC you need to be an AA member to download from their site.
  4. That must have been a whilst ago mick as you've aged a bit since then.
  5. Def change rope as I found my S/J on 13mm crap
  6. Quite normal that, just a ball ache to change
  7. Must have made sweet sounds
  8. Does it not come with a slide hammer in the tool kit, well the one I changed did
  9. With or without the ground out transfer covers to make it a 372
  10. yep LT85, never managed to break a lt95 gearbox, they make lots of noise but just dont break
  11. R380 were fitted to 300Tdi's but used the long bellhousing. 200tdi's used the short bellhousing lt77. So if going to fit a R380 onto 200tdi you need to move engine forward or use the special shorty R380 gearbox from ashcroft which I think is special order IIRC
  12. Personally I would remove and replant another, I know its not what you want to hear
  13. If you strip yourself there are some special tools that you do need, hence why i have just put an ashcroft R380 into my TD5 rather than rebuild myself. How much do you need the L/R could you wait the 6-8wks whilst they do your box, if its repairable. I have a LT77 but its in one of mine as got sick of breaking santana boxes(supposedly unbreakable ). There are some other rebuilt lt77 boxes on the bay, but how good ?
  14. Never had it happen to me so far. When I used to trial L/R or winch competitions then definitely short valve stems as running tyres at low presssure. Washed the wheels on the 110 about 6 months ago and both front valves stems started to leak as they were perished.
  15. Not ideal, but I would not loose sleep over it
  16. If you go for R380 you would need bellhousing linkages etc, so more expense, unless you had one you could nick bits off.
  17. Class 1 here but then I cut wood not my legs as a rule.
  18. Impact gun on the nut, check threading on nut. or you could jam it with a piece of cloth between ring gear and starter motor,if your careful (depends on how well starter motor is attached)
  19. Afraid so, If its older than 1 Month, I would bin it or into lawnmower. Try fresh and you may get away with it, whats compression like. If you pick it up by starter handle how long does it take to drop down on the cord.If it drops to the floor straight away its not a good sign.
  20. Overtaking
  21. How old is the fuel
  22. Paul, your just too logical spoils all the fun

  24. What are you paying at the moment, to get the ball rolling. I cant help as I use freelancers, £120 for groundies and £150 for climbers as a rule.
  25. How did you get on, what was the tree surgeons prognosis and more importantly what did he quote.
