  1. Was raining last Saturday 😠so decided to make a bench👍 yew frame,oak and elm seat and back,haven't had chance to oil it yet

Small bandsaws arnt made for ripping or cutting straight lines, I have a very small jet one which I soley use for cutting the ends off my turnings.and I keep my big felder one with a course blade for ripping down, so in truth a scroll saw is great for xmas decorations,small puzzles,and some you can put a small section of bandsaw blade in which adds too its diversity,,,all depends what you plan on making!

  5. I have a same customer with similar thoughts , but I like you recommend just deadwooding and dealing with any further issues should it arrive!

  8. top tip,,Ive tried woodmizer and ripper, and to be honest, not alot in it, but you cant sharpen the rippers on the woodmizer sharpening jig,,,well you can but cant get the setting right without snapping the teeth.
