  3. a maillon? and just keep a small spanner next to it.
  4. mine has a sticker saying change blades and grease nips/sliders every 20hrs, dead easy to do, good chance to clear out all the chip/twigs that get clogged by the right hand side of the roller box. don't forget the grease nips on the hitch too. i get all my genuine kubota filters posted from a place in essex (engine power ltd or something?) very reasonable too.
  5. £50/day, keep them poor so they have to keep coming back:thumbup:
  6. used to use a meths burner (army type) that folded down pretty small and light, then used a petrol burning stove, now we just rely of customers taking pity on us because we look scruffy and cold, even had customers neighbours bring us drinks/food:thumbup: can't beat hot soup for reviving you on a cold wet windy day
  7. dangerous things them! i saw a new one on the floor lastweek and was going to pick it up but remember thinking ..oh yeah and loose an eye like you nearly did lasttime! get well soon
  8. why do anything yourself when you can pay others to do it?
  9. got and use both regularly, i'd reach for the 460 first everytime though! the exhaust mod is cheap and makes a notable difference:thumbup1:
  10. recon steering box the other week, got a uj falling to pieces and a gearbox on order:001_rolleyes:
  11. they do backfire a bit, i hear kevs backfiring chipper everytime he's on my patch!
  12. i don't go very fast in mine, it gets some fair abuse occasionally:biggrin:
  13. i don't bother:lol:, but it would be nice to see the flames again so might give it a go if i get a minute
  14. another flat tyre, and the landy spat its power steering fluid out and converted itself to heavy manual steering.
  15. broke a tyre yesterday, and the fuel cap for the 200t.. they don't make stuff how they used to:001_rolleyes:
  16. i've got some leaves for you rob, had to freeclimb to get some good ones from the top (between you and me i wasn't even wearing a helmet with chinstrap!) then consigned them to the cab of the landy so fingers crossed they ....ok they havn't a chance of surviving till sunday haha, but you can look for them if you sign a disclaimer saying you went in there at your own peril. many apologies, Ed.

  18. no nests but a lot of drunk wasps under an apple we were pruning last week, there were hundreds of them, we had to step on them just to work. no stings or buzzing. there were a lot of apples though:thumbup1:
  19. as always i bet you wish you had asked earlier mate.. my bro just traded his in (fitted your description perfectly) for a gas one. sorry
  20. best holiday of my life... flew to sanfrancisco, had a few days there then hired a motorhome (RV) for three weeks, drive where you want, stop where you want, campsites are cheap, people are friendly and i'll do it again one day. oh and fuel is virtually free compared with uk!
