  1. Well done on your tree inspection mark Rob, I enjoyed that module too. Not able to open it off tapatalk, but at a guess did you use that big beech on the corner that's now got Gano brackets on it? Have you seen the ISA tree inspection pro forma?
  2. Good to see some more pics from you tony. Some very well doe reductions in there! Here's some proper sized stazi ears for you
  3. It just started going and I,couldn't touch the brakes else I'd have ended up in a bigger mess. Got of lucky with just a reg plate!
  4. Come down a snowy steep twisty narrow driveway in a transit and because they are so good at driving away from Tarmac I stuffed it into a wall out of my control. Only cracked the reg plate. Left a bit of a mess of the wall though! Could have been worse, nearly ended up in a busy road so opted for the wall!
  5. My dad had this a couple of months back. I took a second call from him the day after and as I know my way round computers I kept asking him questions that he could only answer with 'have I told you I am Microsoft trained technician and that I need to clean my computer or else it will slow down but I need to have a subscription for this' I kept him on for 20 minutes and were going round in circles. I kept asking how he got my number but couldn't answer that! I thought it was amusing!
  6. Bump still in need of a guy. Cheers
  7. I've been brought in on a job to do some climbing works but it has been underestimated. I could do with a good climber on weds. Big sycamore to reduce half over a busy road to warrants two climbers ideally. You can meet me on site as its a way from base for me. Contact me through pm or at 07841128366 cheers!
  8. I'll vouch for Carl. Works hard and knows what to do. Always grounds for me.
  9. I'm very tempted for one too. At their price they should be pretty good! Ill be waiting for a more in depth review dan
  10. I have a customer who owns a woodland with plenty sizeable trees in. All for his own personal firewood use! Had me in today felling this hollow ash and a couple others at another part of the woodland. Tried to barberchair as it went over. As it started to go I dropped saw and scarpered! All wood and brash stacked at the side of the field for the nearby farmer to put in his loader and tip on the guys drive. He will have a massive stock of ash for next winter.
  11. I cut the gob a little too wide so it held on too long coming down on its tip and bouncing back. If it was that critical I would have done it in a smaller piece. Although there was no need to and it didn't matter the fence was hit. I can agree that hitting anything is bad. But this wasnt a critical situation.
  12. Bye bye payload!
  13. No. For this site, that's in good condition!
  14. This mornings task. Get rid of two little pops. Last stem on the first one crushed the fence a bit but it sprang back. Lovely and sunny but a bit windy!
  15. I had airstreams for 2 years. Did me well till the sole fell off! Would have got another pair but picked up some zermatts instead. Best boots ever!
  16. Swan for dinner? Don't think the queen would approve!
  17. S'ok, we can't all be perfect
  18. Pipeline dodging
  19. i ordered some of these from Mike, very good service. The post dragged its heels a bit, took them a week to get here through first class! Pleased with the quality, all made from beech so smell good too!
  20. Have you filled it that much you sunk the driveway?
  21. Yes it will. Got two cans both with both stihl filler spouts
  22. Ours was doing this a lot. We stripped down the hubs to find nothing left friction surface wise. Plus I reckon it's maybe rusted/old cables locking up slightly. I don't think the resistance of mud helps though. But when behind a 120hp tractor it didn't matter whether they were on or off in the mud!
  23. I love that bedside lump. I've got a few lumps that would suit for me. Looks like ill be sorting some out for myself!
