  1. Shhhh I wasn't being rough 'onest guv!
  2. It was bad luck. Step cut snagged the chain as it went and I couldn't get it free in time. My Heart sank when I realised what had happened!
  3. Might just do that. It's nice on a 12 so I would think its much better. Will price one up. Bent the chain on mine. It's been readjusted and works alright now but I can't tell if I've put a slight curve on the bar too. Not something I imagined doing 2 hours into use!
  4. Nice I read my post again it comes across wrong to how it was in my head. It's still got plenty power for its size but cutting full bar depth it struggles a bit. Mines on a 12". I see this saw replacing the silky for 90% of work. It's so easy to use!
  5. I really want to port mine. If its gonna get better with a bit of running in I'm looking forward to using it a lot. Has plenty guts for 5" cuts but wouldn't suit anything more. Tried it today but it can't keep the speed up.
  6. Quadchip. Nuff said!
  7. Had it taking out a bunch of conifers today. Superbly suited to confined spaces. Where you would feel very close with a 200 the 150 makes it easy due to its size and weight. Cutting and holding to swing branches back over fences is a doddle. Arms length 1 handing is easy and doesn't strain at all. I manage to get mine snagged in a step cut before lunch and bent a drive link on the chain. Gutted! Mate has one too though so borrowed his for the afternoon. Will not be picking the 200 up as much I don't think. I think if one of these were ported and the throttle response quickened it would give e 200t a run for its money!
  8. I'm not far away but would have come for a load if I was free. If your ever after getting rid of logs again I have room for plenty
  9. That too seems like a very viable option. Just not got round to buying one yet!
  10. Yes have done it a few times before. Only problem is that my chip tip site has no trees behind it!
  11. I'm trying! Would get it converted but its an old truck so not worth spending the money. Quite happy digging it out for now
  12. Nope. All on my Todd digging that lot out. Use a fork for most of it and get the last bits with the shovel. About 15 minutes to empty it.
  13. Got mine today. Just tried it on a few trees in the garden. Very impressed so far. It's weight it awesome. Just like an extension of your hand!
  14. Yesterday's conifer. This was about 80% of the tree. It was just coming back out so we decided it was full. Need a tailgate greedy board!
  15. I call the pickup galoppie, its a bit like an old donkey! Keeps going but isn't the fastest!
  16. Hi guys im after a climber for this friday, got a couple of jobs on i need to get done. Nothing tricky. Contact me through here or call/text 07841128366 You will be Paid on the day. Cheers
  17. Ginkgo biloba is meant to be good for memory too. You can get it in tablets so you don't have to start chewing trees.
  18. I've just put a UHWPE (i think?) polypropylene winch rope on a winch m8000. Prefer rope to cable. Can get it in a few colours. Worked out £30 cheaper than dyneema. 100' reel fills the winch to the knackers
  19. I could have learnt all that and told you. If have forgotten most of it before i typed it though!
  20. Here's an oak I'm sorting a report for. Base is a tricky one. Difficult to figure out what's causing base decay but I'm guessing its initiated by the path leading to the garden at the back which has knocked some chunks out the side. The agent judging by the body language my gut tells me Inonotus, but the lack if any scars or fruiting bodies around I'm hesitant to place it to any. Been hit in the past. My judgement is that its easily manageable by a slight reduction and a thin to reduce the sail resistance and weight. It's the only sizeable oak around so want to keep it but just give it a bit of care.
  21. Ringing up with heated handles sure gets them toasty!
  22. Dad swapped in his navara d40 for a d max. The navara was a bit comfort to sit in but the d max pulls like a train and seems a bit more solid. Reversing camera on the town all is handy too!
  23. Don't you just love the ability of cats to find the warmest AND most inconveniencing spot at the same time?
  24. Second the new blade. I got over 20 months out of my blade and going to. New one was like night and day in the difference. For £60 to buy then £45 for a new blade 20 months later I was happy with that for value for money.
  25. Go for a sugoi and you won't be disappointed.
