  1. Turf work. Spiking, seeding, sand spreading, in winter it's used for gritting. Does the odd bit of tree work
  2. Most of its work is turf work. So need turf tyres. The tractor is 18" wider than the JD 6330 it replaces
  3. I thought that too. It's our first time straying away from green so time will tell of its any good. It's a t6, all new, 150hp. 50k box. Nice toy!
  4. They are loctited in. So wont come loose. If they do, the black rings will spin and rattle in the space around the screw.
  5. Looks about right! I knew I'd seen it before. Cheers
  6. These leaves are slightly downy, googled dahpne odora and it didn't seem to match. The bark makes me think cherry with the raised lenticels but I'm stumped!
  7. That's one awesome toy. Client: "I've only got a narrow gate though love" Me: "that's not a problem. I've got a personal tank/tool for making them wider"
  8. Just had this dropped off
  9. This is annoying me. I've seen it before but the name won't come to me. Boot at the ready for self kicking.
  10. Been on stihl green oil for a bit now. Runs much better in the 4mix engines. Less fumes and happy lungs!
  11. I deemed mine as well worn before I changed it. A piece of rope was a good alternative. Makes it a bit like the treemotion. With the screw in its strong. It's rated as a second set of side Ds. How can you load something correctly when it's being pulled in 4 directions?
  12. The harness was designed with the rings as a crucial component. Why would you want to change it to something that won't fit the bill as well? The pear shaped mallion still needs to be loaded along its major axis to be strong. Where the ring works in any direction. I've never had an issue with the ones on mine. I have changed the bridge out to a piece of rope that's a bit longer. Makes it a bit nicer to use. But i wouldn't want to go changing hardware.
  13. I've already asked
  14. I'd love one in the bare metal. Looks really mean!
  15. I stuck one up in a chippy nearby the other week. Just had a call saying they got my number from the chippy. Pays for another batch!
  16. If he's feeling a little deflated he should go back to the same place Get well soon matey. Take more water next time!
  17. Bed is about 7'x5' and approx 15"-18" deep on my single cab d22.
  18. I've got a job sorting out a load of shrubs and a few small trees on Monday and could do with a hand. Very straight forward job. Nothing difficult. After someone who can help me out. Depending on how the job goes it might stretch till Tuesday for a couple hours. Please contact me through here or call/text 07841128366 Paid on the day Cheers!
  19. i got a set for using every now and again when hedging and stuff like that, seem pretty good, had them about 6 months now i think. cant complain with them.
  20. i did it by eye, chipping nice and even as i would expect. if its scuffing on the cassette it would seem it explains the scuffed blades as on the anvil there would be damage to that too. if it were a bearing out i would expect a vibration especially at speed. needs further investigation, seems like your onto it
  21. i know exactly what you mean, had it with mine and a friend with his, mine is now improving with some use, will retune it soon and hope it picks up even more. give it time
  22. id say turn the cassette slowly and find where it hits, you should find the point of resistance then you can see what the problem is, when i adjusted my anvil is was a tad too close so it would catch on the blades as they went round, lifted the anvil back out slightly and it was fine and has chipped fine since.
  23. blades hitting the anvil, readjust and turn the cassette by hand to ensure clearance
