  1. We've got one of these posh jobbies. Pour your beans in the top. Press a button and out comes perfect espresso. Will heat and steam milk too right out the bottle. Not the easiest thing to take a photo of without being in the way!
  2. I see what you mean. You are looking for the cut to open slightly as you get to the end and if it starts tipping too much there's too much tension and closes there's not enough. Are there situations where having a shorter piece tied opposite is the better choice? Is swinging ever an issue if its tied to one side? Does that depend on the size of the piece?
  3. I get you. Personally I would have chained at 6 and 12 I clock and cut from 3 to 9 to keep it level. However not having been in the situation it's just how I would think I would do it. Good job
  4. Ok. Why would you chain it to one side? Doesn't that make it more unpredictable causing the logs to roll and pinch the saw? I'm not criticising, it's how I see the situation. You have the control of a crane to make every piece float away like a cloud but make it risky by unbalancing the load.
  5. Do you reckon it would tow my chipper?
  6. I agree with others comments re the hand in the gap. Shocked me when I saw it and then again when the log started moving. Just a question about lifting the logs. We're you on one chain or two? If two would you not have been better getting a straight lift? If you were lifting with one chain fair enough. I have no crane experience, but if I were to do that I would lift with two if I could.
  7. Should have got and iPad
  8. two of my good ones, town centre felling and then my biggest dismantle yet
  9. We did. Didn't sell as many as expected in the end. We've ended up with 5! All in the freezer to be used at a later date!
  10. Wooden iPad cover from the girlfriend. It's cool. Had an eye on these for ages. She chose the colours and writing. .
  11. Kelly bronze 5kg turkey with all the trimmings. Almost ready!
  12. I got a few silly things off my dad. Didn't know what I wanted this year so I got socks a pot noodle a mini food processor and a RC helicopter (which is fun!)
  13. They are cut trees. We have pot grown trees available but dig them up on an as and when basis.
  14. If I do say so myself, the garden looks quite festive. I put green and red food dye in my dogs food for the past week.
  15. Merry Christmas AT crowd
  16. If you want them now I can do a great deal on about 200 from 4 to 8 foot.
  17. If that decay column was the same relative size to the base I would have felled it just at the top of the buttresses. That 3" at head height could have been 4 or 5 at the bottom and you could use the buttresses as hinges. Plus the saw is at a safer height. Without filling your face with sawdust.
  18. Has the cut on the wood turned orange? If so, alder. Bark looks about right
  19. This one?
  20. Ill go have a look
  21. Another £20 from me. Will get more in a few days!
  22. Dare I ask what picture 6 is? Cools shots! Makes me want to be there now.
  23. Just ordered some. Will order some more over the coming days to break up the ticket numbers!
  24. So I'm looking to all sorts. But can't decide where to start. Melbourne or Brisbane? Or even Perth?
